I can't believe they took so long to arrive. Did you check the dispatch date on the parcel? It must have been the 22nd December or thereabouts!
-
I stripped the turbo kit off and refitted it with genuine Subaru gaskets and she is now running sweet. The insurance is sorted and I'm in the process of buying road tax now. I've been using the Vtec for a week or so, and I can confirm that Boost is the way - even though the TD04 is only running at .5 bar.
-
No, you need the Pcv valve as an normal breather will always be open.
-
Pre facelift, however facelift will also fit with little modification.
-
If I find some, I'll post them with your other package mate.
-
Ah yes, I remember what the Tom's looks like (I have one in my unit). I don't think it will fit without modifications tbh!
-
Can you show me a picture of your car with the bonnet open? I know of a few customers who have them fitted with the ID-Workz Varis style bumper but I'm not sure about the Tom's.

Hi guys, As requested here is a group buy for ID-Workz stainless steel cooling panels. These are superb quality, we have sold over 30 to pleased customers. The finish on these is brushed stainless, I can get some pictures up to show the new style. I have around 15 in stock, if we have a minimum of 5 I can offer these are £32.50 delivered. Please only add your name to the list if you definitely want one. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Cheers Idrees

I'm 19 mate, but I've wanted a Glanza since the age of 13-14!
-
I didn't I always wanted a Glanza
-
Haha, she will be getting some loving while she's parked up. The piston rings are on their way out so I'll whip the engine out and give it a full overhaul. My mate is selling a B16 with CTR pistons, Spoon headgasket, Skunk2 cams and some other bits so I could alternatively but that but we will see what funds allow!

My night shift involves wrapping parcels as there's not enough hours in the day to do them as there's too much other things to get done. I've been sleeping no earlier than 5am for the last 3-4 days, and waking up before 10! As the other guys mentioned though, it will definitely ruin your sleep pattern. Over last Christmas I worked from 5pm-4am and I always woke up around 2pm which ruins the day

I've still got the Glanza and the GT so it's all good for boost. I haven't planted it around corners, the roads are damn and the wheels and tyres are rubbish. He sold the old wheels on the car separately but I'll fit something nice when funds allow. She will be taken off the road tomorrow and hopefully the GT will be out!

I had a brace welded from flange to flange on the manifold, cheers Dale! I've took the turbo kit off and replaced the gaskets with genuine Subaru items. It's still blowing from somewhere though, it's nothing major but I need to sort it out! Everything else is running smooth, the engine is extremely quiet! I just need to fix the idle level on it, fit a new ICV, get the knock sensor wired up then fit the front bumper and fingers crossed I can get her Tax'd today as the Vtec is coming off the road!
-
The one fender that is fitted will be coming back off as I can't take the time out to paint them. I'll be refitting the stock ones when I get a chance just so I can get the car on the road, and I'll fit the fenders at a later date.

Nothing for a while yet mate
-
The black intercooler will be hidden away with the bumper, I think it will look good Gutted about the gaskets as I could have had this on the road this weekend Couple of pictures..
-
Looks tidy mate, remind me of my white with the RGs and Jam bits
-
Looks stunning, the ID-Workz spoiler looks like a perfect fit too (unlike the Livesports style spoilers being sold on Tgtt). Top marks

Yeah it's addictive but not in this weather! I've got a TD05'd Glanza and a TD04'd GT, so I think it's safe to say I am ok in the turbo department for now. Insurance is a killer, the cheapest I found was £2200. I'm going to cancel it tomorrow though and take it off the road all being well, I should get the deposit back as it's within 14 days.
-
Sorry mate this is no longer open, if you want a bonnet PM me and I'll see what I can do. Ps. Socks that looks awesome

I'm using it as a runabout for a couple of weeks, just until my GT is done actually. I will lose my hearing if it's gonna be too long though The reason I bought it? I've no idea. My mates had it for sale for a while but he only attracted timewasters, when he told me I just said I'd buy it. The plans are to give it a good clean up, ie rip the whole interior out and freshen it all up, and also replace any bits it needs such as the NSF wing as it's dented. If anyone comes across a black set of 15" Slips please let me know

It's running 173bhp so it's quite nippy, running a decent list of upgrades including 98 spec ITR cams, Skunk2 inlet manifold, AEM cold air intake, 4-2-1 exhaust manifold, chipped ECU, full exhaust and a lightened flywheel. The manifold was also blowing when he had it dyno'd. It's a nice fun car, but it's just not a Starlet.. No harm in trying something different from time to time though.

Awesome Here are a few pictures taken a couple of days ago. It sits a little high so I will probably get another set of coilovers in the future to lower it more. Anyway, the new engine is running and sounds sweet and is running well so far. The exhaust is blowing somewhere around the turbo, I used those rubbish gaskets supplied with the manifold and I think that was a mistake. A quick spec list: Replacement 4EFTE (80k miles) Toyosports TD04 kit - The manifold has an added brace and a custom actuator bracket was fabricated to fit Race-tech braided water and oil pipes Genuine S
