What is your budget mate? The HDi is a good cooler buy requires quite a lot of chopping on the bumper in most cases. So if yours has a UK spec bumper I imagine your going go have to chop it bits! I'd go for the JPerformance or Autobahn, which are both 'copies' of the Blitz. I've never heard of JD Performance though, any pictures of the one your looking at?

Welcome along mate! The Starlet you see daily, do you know what one it is? GT (Older shape) or the Glanza? I'm in the process of getting rid of my Glanza with hope to buy a JDM EP3. They look so nice in white and the extra goodies sound ace. I was never too keen on the EP3s performance before but I've drove my brothers a few times and I must say I really like it. Looking forward to pics of your motor!

Since my old one I've had a 211hp GT Turbo, a White 219hp Glanza and now am moving on again. Looking at the JDM Civic EP3 TypeRs.

There must be something wrong with the Civic! I had a run against two of them.

Well thats my old car, very old! I had a Corolla inlet, full exhaust and an open filter on it. It was pretty nippy, I beat 2 Saxo VTR's in it and they are 1.6 with 90hp or so that was on the 1/4 mile strip by the way (17.3 seconds).

Ah that clears that up. Reflet rear lights look tidy too.

The 1.3 N/A is pretty nippy for what is is.

Welcome to the forum mate. Is your a 96 or a 98 spec? I'm guessing 98 but it has 96 rear lights? Looks tidy, I read Jay's post on how immaculate this car is.

Welcome to the forum. The cheapest I've seen SR's for sale are around £1k for a tidy one. Damien on here is selling one at a bargain price of £750 though, and his is mint. For the Glanza parts, here are rough prices: Glanza bonnet £100 second hand - Lucky if you can get one the same colour as the car. Headlights - Gary_EP91 is selling a pair at £40 which is very cheap. Usually go for around £70-£80 (Cost £120 brand new) Bumper - You can get the 96 spec bumper for around £70-£100 second hand, if your lucky it'll have foglights attached. That's all you need. If you want a 98 spec bumper they cost £109 from Toyota but then you need the 98 spec fogs which are £130 or something stupid like that! You'll also need the Glanza grille to attach the bumper to the slam panel, these cost around £22 from Toyota. If you want part numbers, check out the part number section.

I'm really liking this project, and it's going at a swift pace. I think the Speedlines look awesome on it, imagine it a touch lower - perfection. 166bhp on stock boost is a pretty awesome result too, good luck with the rest of the project mate.

I've got Uniroyal Rainsports on my Glanza and I had them on my SR too. I can't say I've abused the car too much on them but they feel 'safe' in the wet. As opposed my old Yoko Parada Spec 2's - hideous in the wet. I had Toyo T1R and T1S on my GT and they both wore down way too fast for my liking.
