Awesome build up, love the car. Engine bay and interior look awesome mate. We have a meet on the 7th of March in Huddersfield, would be nice for you to pop over as your not too far off. ;)
-
Being discussed in the moderators room mate. ;)
-
If I lived closer to you, I'd come over and buy it. Recovery costs would cost a fair bit to bring it home!
-
Looking forward to pictures Craig-SR. Gary yeah I replied, I was using the net on my phone so it may have messed up. I'll resend it now mate.
-
Replied to your text Craig, should be cool. ;)

Leave enough wire loose, velcro it to the dash when your driving but when you park up, stick it in the glove box!
-
Velcro is solid, I've always had my Power FC commander units on with velcro and they've never failed. As Glanza_cl said they take some getting used to. Awesome boost controllers, I just sold one last week and then ended up buying another last night! The only way I learnt was by teaching myself!
-
As above, try GTIROC (I think that's the name). AskMid says it's not insured. Click me!
-
Nice pics, the Hondas look sweet. Keirz still nowhere to be seen though.
-
They were supposed to be ready on Tuesday but the guy has been off work ill so he's asked me to collect parts on Friday (tomorrow). They'll be dispatched next week. Sorry for the delay guys!
-
Cars looking super!
-
Old school I had one this time last year! Watch when it turns up, the side the writing is on will face inside the car! I had to use double sided clear tape on mine!
-
If I were to buy brakes again (I will be doing eventually) it will have to be 3G discs with Green Stuff pads.
-
Your literally 10 minutes from me then. You might have seen some of my old Starlets. Yellow Glanza Rep, or White Glanza will a full kit? We have a meet here in Huddersfield next month, you should pop over. Check the meets and events section for more details.
-
Cheers guys. Well that's two guys who have had the exact same problem (cheshireglanza too) and their gearbox has been perfect. Noel so yours is a gonner then by the sounds of it yeah? I'll split my box when I get the chance, as I've just bought a new one tonight so I can fit that.

Looking forward to the rebuild buddy!

Ollie's Glanza V :) Update Pics - 04/05/2010
Idrees replied to Ollie's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
First things first, if you ever sell that TD04 kit or even the manifold, I'll buy it back because it is pure awesome. Did you use the braces I supplied? Car looks awesome by the way mate, colour and wheels work a treat! -
Hey.. Question About The Starlet Advance :)
Idrees replied to Starlet-Matt's topic in Welcome New Owners!
Welcome along mate. :surrender: -
Welcome along mate. Where in West Yorkshire are you from? I'm from Huddersfield.
-
Yes mate my Yellow stuffs made a massive humming noise when braking hard. They were being used with CRN grooved discs, they may work better with better discs such as 3G but I haven't tried that.
-
I would go with the Parada Spec 2s Luke.
-
Yeah I see where your coming from. You can get the removable baffle too, just pop it/out whenever you want. :surrender:

I might have to try the Reds out too then on my next one. The greens were fantastic, I was running 219hp with them and the pedal feel was awesome. When taking friends for a blast in the car, a few of them actually commented on how well the brakes seemed to perform! With the yellows, the pedal always seemed way too soft. The system was bled etc but that's how they were. People did say how they'd need time to warm up as they are track discs but I still hated them when they were warm. Worst brake fade I've ever felt! Not to mention they were completely work after two months of road use! Yes it w
