  1. What fueling mods does it have ecu? Sounds like you should be running fine sounds like you need a backbox..
  2. I think it will look sweet, not a fan of mixed body kits though but that's just me it will still look the dogs I will catch you soon for some photo's when I'm up n running
  3. Shame about that bloody manifold mate! I thought you would of went purple/blue with the brace's what's app me when you get them back pics won't do it justice!
  4. Cusco (street) or trd (track) would be my choice's.
  5. Aaddzz is right the td04 isn't even that laggy set up right, your probably running an actuator so your boost is tailing off higher up the revs...? Ideally external wastegate will be the way to go to hold the boost that much better but cash wise by the time you buy a hybrid set up it's some what cheaper going td04, wouldn't underestimate those saxo's some of them are surprising fast with no lagg all about the timing with these turbo's as above make sure your in the right gear haha
  6. Sounds like they found you keep up the progress
  7. Fair do's lad with the ewg and ebc you'll be going good won't be too laggy as I say if people want the most out of that td04 surely buy some LSD first..slightest bit of damp and it's useless power!
  8. Yes I can see this happening most likely! I would like to see more ct12's always wanted somebody to build a 5EFTE with one of these
  9. I just meant in general if people are more concerned about saving fuel a jap cars probably not so good of a choice but yes I see where you coming from it's definately harder to keep off boost on the motorway as the ct9 spools much quicker but I guess it's about the set up...
  10. If I was you I would buy the top mounted weper kit new as you will get the lifetime warranty and find a cheap td04 and have it rebuilt you don't know how hard a second hand kit has been pushed always better to buy new I would say
  11. If the TF035 is the way to go why are you going td04 if these turbo's are so good you won't need a replacement...hybrids are just like anything you get what you pay for. They only shit themselves because people over run them I'm not saying hybrids are the best choice but the fact is blitz designed one especially for the 4EFTE when they could of made a td04 hybrid which therfore suggested to me a hybrid was the better way to go but your right on the cash side of things the TD04 is the cheaper way nowadays to get a very good power figure but if anybody knows anything about tuning it's how fast i
  12. I always get pulled into these td04 debate's lol I don't dislike them or anything but people go on like it's the only way to go in achieving the better car for all around ( in general not aimed at anyone) then stick some rota's on it's nearly all the same route's nothing wrong with that just gets boring to read. Right back to topic 206bhp is pretty good result in my opinion some form of LSD will get the td04 power down properly on the straights and through the corners I would suggest this upgrade before the bigger powersme people will disagree but it makes sense to me!
  13. Buy one of these for a start http://www.rhdjapan.com/zep-racing-water-temperature-gauge-adapter-toyota-ep91.html
  14. Could the coolant leak into the exhaust gas from through the waterlines? Would this only occur when the turbo gets hot and boosts a little? I want to run these pipe's to save the turbo life.
  15. Definately agree with you but at the same time it's not an underlining fact to every glanza that runs a td04 is more economically friendly than the ct9 it all depends on what mods you have and how you drive it imo
  16. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with having a fast car etc... I'm just saying there is alot to take into consideration between the ct9/td04 fuel economy pending on how you drive the car it's not really a reason to go td04. As much as we all hate tractors there becoming better more efficiant cars/ I would shit money if I owned one lol
  17. It's hard to tell just I'm not driving it much it's going to the garage for tests it could be anything at the minute surely if it had something to do with the turbo it would be constant smoke
  18. Just trying to narrow things down I wouldn't of thought that neither although I would love it to be simple like that haha suppose the only pro is when it's cold the turbo warms up quicker, it's got waterline's so I will probably use them as there on now
  19. Trying to figure out why my cars abit white smokey when warmed up, my turbo came off a Jam racing engine and they ran my turbo with no water lines...why do people run them like that surely it does the turbo no favours! I'm currently running waterlines...the sooner I fix this problem the quicker I can map the bitch!!
  20. Not sure I agree there as with any turbo car not boosting it/putting your foot down is eco friendly, if saving petrol is what you want don't buy jap buy a diesel I would say a big plus for the td04 is the price it's quite cheap to get a full set up these days.
  21. Thanks lads the k1 turbo is meant to hit full boost around 2700 rpm would be super spooling with an ebc lol
  22. Those cake's look nice aswell lol how much would you want for the sideskirt would be a nice addition to the rear keep you abit sturdier at high speeds, I like sleepers that give a little hint of I've got a surprise haha!
