sounds like it could be a c.v joint or as said could be a engine/gearbox mount away best way to check for engine mounts is to use a pry bar and see if there is any excess play in the bushes. or it could be that you have an lsd gearbox as they do jump and knock going round corners which is normal.

i don't have d2's so cant comment on them. but i think it would be normal as i have koni's on mine and over some bumps mine rubs which i feel is normal but don't think they should rub going round corners.

if its just the fact that your lights are cloudy,mines are the exact same,then i heard on austarletclub that if you use autosol metal polish on the headlights that cleans them right up i am going to try it and will post the results when i do.
