Balls, parkers reckon its 85hp, only thing thats got me thinking is that mine is coming upto 120k, and i can pick this engine up for virtually bugger all off my boss... Surely 110 hp or similiar is possible? And micky i would mate its just finding the parts to do it, and how long i would need to do it? ideally it needs to be done in 3 days, over a weekend so i can get to work. it would be done by now if i didnt rely on it:/

Got an idea brewing in my head, Found a 99spec corolla 4efe with yellow injectors etc today at work, 39k on it, immaculate. Am i right in thinking these are 88hp standard? and also planning on while its sat around, get the head skimmed and port and polished, turbo valve springs etc... Any engine gurus out there that can say how much would need to be skimmed off the head to make a lump more power, and how it would work out with a thin TRD headgasket? And also any other things i could do while its there to be played with... P.s i know its an engine thread, just want a few ideas then it can be

If you had to top the fluid up its usually because theres a leak, or your brakes are worn! And i would have thought you would have checked your brakes yourself before asking this question, just see if the discs are worn, lipped etc and if your pads are low?! :rtfm: Pads would be good on standard discs, dont need fancy discs to run greenstuff pads

Update on the above, spent 9hours using the products i bought from Hou at Ninja Shine over the weekend, and here are the results. Before photos: After photos: Better shot of the wheel paint! Beading/Sheeting: Massively chuffed with how its turned out, paint feels like glass and the car now looks mint! There is also a few photos of the updated interior here, notice the destickered clock surround, and the properly stickered+laquered centre console, as well as my custom suede doorcards and stealth shelf! No dude there is 2 types, glanzas, gts and most N/As use the same ones, but i have came across some weird ones once which were completely different and it was on a 96 N/a!

hahaha, dude i cleaned the feck out of them! was only really on the inside, especially the one that was already flaked when i bought them:P But thats my main reasons to change the colour, first of all i wasnt paying, secondly its mega popular round here, and third i like the old scooby and lotus look massively:D
