Standard starlets are just oil shocks, the gas ones are oil compressed by gas, stiffer and a fair but better, if you can get em mate worth it as long as there not fucked

There a gas shock mate, for oe replacement. On another note, that engine looks foooked:( no oil filler cap! and no bonnet as well by the looks of it lol

Amjad, it came ported dude, but tbf will be a piece of piss to do yourself, just need it matching to the engine, easy enough! only hassle is the bolts WILL be a bitch to get off, i had the car jacked up, and a metre long power bar to crack the bottom nuts off, if something breaks it would be a nightmare! as long as you have time to take it off, port it, then fit it all with the possibility of it breaking then will be sorted Liam, thanks matey. really loving it now, adore the wheels on it and now i have tested it in the dry ohh my god!!! think i need an antiroll bar lol TT

Thanks Amjad ;) and got it off someone on here, forgot there name but when i removed the standard mani i couldnt believe how restrictive they were! theres like a ring inside each port, really fat which blocks the flow, will be able to port my current one if you fancy that for the ease of swapping it? i chopped the mounts etc off as well, really improved it! And yes on the heat wrapping! get it done Next mod is paint the horn and radiator mounts etc black, for the steath look:) TT

Update, Induction piping to the BMC Copy revised= lovely sound and a bit nippier! Cleaned throttle body etc with carb cleaner=smokey exhaust and loads of banging lol, car runs smoother now Ported manifold fitted, what a bastard that was!= seems to pull better, slight difference in sound? Clear indicators back on the front Autogauge Tacho fitted Led interior light lol Will get pics of these when i get my pod on the dash:) Heres a few pics, excuse the filth on the car! TT

Looks beaut with them wheels on it! but man you need to cut your ariel in half, easy then just put a bung on the end, stops it hitting the roof and the radio still works! And about it being slow, just keep thinking how much faster it is compared to most other peoples first cars.... there not a Sloow car! dont know how you can be fed up with such a beast!

They will raise it if anything dude there stiffer over standard, mine made a huge difference to standard, would be ideal with some standard springs and if you can get spring spacers in? keep the ride height up for the rallying?

I would go for the kyb gas shocks, what an amazing difference, ride is improved tenfold over standard na shocks! get them, on standard new springs, and whack in a 2inch plastic spacer to keep things taut
