A hybrid turbo is mating two different turbos together to improve spool up, top end pull etc etc. Basically using the best elements of both turbos to make one really good one. Pulling a turbo apart and reassembling it does not make it a hybrid

The Irish are mad for cams and the old school stuff like kp starlets, ep70s etc. I would hazard a guess at this stage that there are nearly more ae86 RWD Corollas in Ireland than any ther country in the world. And I wouldn't tend to agree that they are dead slow standard. I've been in many a standard ae86 that pulled well. They are a great car waaaay ahead of their time, the looks, the lines, the power and torque of the engine was light years ahead of anything else at the time. My twincam is 29 years old and has never missed a beat. A lot of the gt coupes over here would put modern cars to shame in the cleanliness stakes

It happens all the time lads, especially in the North. There are quite a few films that can be watched online based on the IRA and The Trouble in Northern Ireland and many carry a similar storyline. Take a watch of "Fifty Dead Men Walking" or "Accelerator". Great films based on the above events

^^^ correct! I ran the pro racer with centre box removed and a blitz decat and sounded class. After the forged build I re made the exhaust using 2.75" piping the same as the Downpipe. Serious noise on boost
