    With the car jacked up spin the wheel and put your hand on the suspension spring, if you feel a roughness/slight vibration your bearings could have gone dry!

    Sooo... Changed the tb, and the idle is perfect!!!

    I can vouch for the cleanliness of this car!! It's beautiful!! And Scott really looks after his cars so it will still be as fresh as the day he bought it!!! A bargain to who ever buys it!!

    Not all LSDs will spin the shafts the same way, especially if they are free (no tyre/road contact)

    Checked all the pipes and they are all good!! Guess it's a throttle body replacement to try now!! Unless there's any other suggestions??

    Ok, so I pulled off the tmic and stuck my finger over the lil hole by the tb butterfly and the engine cut out! Adjusted the idle screw up and repeated and she idled perfect!! Guessing I need to replace the tb??

    And I can check for vacuume leak with easy start?? Or is there another way??

    The idle screw is screwed all the way in and fitting the new valve hasn't helped, does it need to be in diagnostic mode when this is done? If so how do I put it in diagnostic mode??

    Hi guys, I only ever seem to post if something's wrong 😁 Since I bought the GT (aka project puddle jumper) the idle has been really high, on cold it idles at 1800-2000 rpm, warm she idles at 1200-1400! I've swapped out the idle speed control valve, no change, any ideas?? Cheers
