Like James said jus drill out the cracks so they dont spread and use a bit of resin and fiberglass its great stuff to work with and the bit you repair if you do it correctly would prob be stronger than the rest of it. Dont be scared to get stuck in yourself theres very little a bit of sanding cant sort if you do make a mistake.

Yeah i get that. Do you need it to stay blue or is it ok white? I dont really know of anyone whos used the coloured stuff everyone ive seen have been white lol.

Is the smoking maybe just the heat burning off the colouring it might be ok now? I think ebay is where most people get it from i could be wrong though.

Any body got any suggestions? A friends R33 needs painted and is suffering from some rust so need a workshop that can tackle this kinda work.

So i want to relocate my airfilter why i fit my hybrid but i have no intention of removing the a/c so is there anywhere else that i can sneak it into its an HKS mushroom filter. Also im not removing any fog lights lol. Cheers

Take it to a custom exhaust makers and get them to put a cuple of slight bends in the pipe.

Not just vac pipes what about the turbo pipes going to intercooler etc? Jus making sure the airfilter was relocated for a good air feed in the 1st place. Do you know someone who would lend you a wastegate to try it? Aye most cars tend to be easier to take off the manifold and the decat along with the turbo.

Maybe the cable tie is stretching slightly? You wont be 100% sure its not the wastegate untill its welded shut so its defo worth doing. Might be obvious but have you checked all your turbo pipes are on and not leaking? Have you relocated the airfilter to the front? It coud be the daftest of things. I dont see it being the turbo if your not gettin any smoke or funny noises. And you external wastegate would cause you to over boost rather than underboost if it was faulty unless it is leaking ofcourse? To me you must have a leak somewhere.

Your probably underboosting due to having your wastegate held shut by a cable tie lol.
