Lol they are all made of the same materials. Also If triple core causes the engine to run cooler then thats a negative effect you want your engine temp up half way as fast as possible and while its running ideally you would never want it to move.

To be honest anyone that is advised about tuning on here should never be advised to use an FCD they are a disaster waiting to happen. If someone is just beginning to tune their starlet from scratch advice I'd give would be to get a P&P as your 1st mod then an AFR gauge then an adjustable actuator and work from there. Once your happy with your set up get a piggy back and chase figures if thats your thing.

No I meant the silver one it looks clean and less abused. Firing a new gearbox on there is a cheap and easy fix then you've got a good wee runner IMO

You definitely get more for your money with the black one mate. The silver one looks cleaner though. Depends what your buying it for? If your buying it for a personal daily id get the silver one. If I was going for a project to track in the future I'd go for the black one.

Worth the try at least you can come on here and give it a review. Either folk then have a cheap way to make an almost brand new TD04 or everyone knows to avoid in the future. Regardless for 90 quid you've either learned an inexpensive lesson or opened the door for a cheap repair.
