  1. What did I say? You won't get anywhere near the performance of the top range stuff but for the price you can't go wrong. Never once recommended he buy BC'S or Meisters or any of the "top end" cpilovers
  2. You can change the bulbs. There's none in them at the moment as they didn't come fitted new I'll double check when I'm home what size bulb they take and see if I can pick some up if it'll make them more sellable
  3. I'd say they would be worth a punt, a lot of guys on the micra owners club rate them fairly high for the price. They'll never be in the same league as BC's or Meisters but for the price of them always worth a shot
  4. Item: racetech 52mm mechanical gauges (oil and water temp, oil pressure) Description: 52mm backlit black faced gauges with 5/8" sensors on 12' capillaries for the oil and water temp sensors. No fittings for the oil pressure gauge but these can be gotten from Racetech directly at extra cost. Condition: new, unused. Some marks from storage but otherwise excellent. Location: Ireland Price: £120+shipping but open to offers, will swap for starlet parts Any other details or questions can be asked here or by PM.
  5. muchas gracias! Did they cost much to have knocked up?
  6. Lovely little SR mate, pity it's on cut springs, looks mean on the deck! Speedline alloys are the job too, would love a set for mine
  7. Would corolla brake lines be the same? Plenty of drum brake kits for 1.3 saloons with drums on ebay and the likes
  8. spot on bud, be great if you could. Seems custom lines are the way forward, must nab some from the scrappies to save any down time Thanks, like mentioned above, need to try get some spares to avoid any down time
  9. As above. Does anyone offer a set of braided kit for N/A's with drum brakes or would it be best to just send the lines off to be copied?
  10. While reading through the thread just now and you mentioned getting rid of the advans, I'll admit I was a little disappointed but no way was I disappointed with the replacements, quite possibly one of my favourite wheels. Rpf01's just suit any car!
  11. Astra discs need machining off the inner diameter of the bell and the inner face of the bell if that makes sense. I keep reading that d4d discs are a bolt on jobbie, must need spacers if they need extended studs too, need to do some reading
  12. If only I'd have thought to ask lol Was told 1.2 astra discs are the least headache to use so think I'll use those. Although for the little extra headache now of swapping in longer studs while I have spare hubs on the bench, I could always just run d4d discs instead. Easier in the long run.
  13. So a bzg 255mm brake setup will clear 14" steel wheels ;)
  14. Awesome build. Don't think I'd have the stones to sand a carbon bonnet lol
  15. Amazing car! Nothing nicer than are car built for a purpose and actually used!
  16. Have to say I'd be of a similar opinion. Any cars I've driven with them are just annoying and too close. Constantly missing gears. Find I can be quite rapid with stock shifter after a little practice
  17. A lot of work gone into this build, much respect!! Will all pay off in the end for you
  18. As above, fully aware that these are hard come by so don't mind a bit of a wait. Cash waiting. Based in Ireland so must be willing to ship
  19. What you got the end links off of and the brackets to hold.to the rear beam if you could.
  20. Any pictures or more details please?
