i know what you mean mate, everyines out for a bargain. which is fair enough because if i were in there position i would be as well, but knowing about the cars adds a lot to its value from a buyers perspective i think. ive had one guy interested who owned one before and he seemed to think it was a good price but just didnt have the money til hed sold his car, which he still hasnt

im trying to sell my v. its on ebay, pistonheads, uksc and over on tgtt as well. ive had little interest in it really, and people that are interested either gove me stupid offers for it, or want to swap me for a shed. http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....c=39710&hl= is the price to high? i cant see it being really at the price its at?? ive re searched what they are selling for atm and i think its priced about right. there arent that many about that are for sale that look as nice or have the amount of aftermarket bits as mine. whilst looking ive seen a couple of forged ones for about the same price, but older with more miles. i dont want to give it away and cant afford to either really. nor can i break it as i need it daily, so its almost got to be a swap for another car really. when ive offered it as a px i have basically been laughed at, but thats fair enough i spose as its a very limited market for them. ive been offered so far- a lupo gti (which looks quite nice tbh) a civic type r in black, but its had 13 owners. an astra and 2800 cash. anyone got any ideas or want to give me an offer on it them selves? thanks, matt

i woke up this morning to find i had no access to my email accounts, and have got home tonight to find that money has been taken from my paypal account and i cant log on to my ebay becuase all passwords have been changed. ive contacted ebay via the law enforcement bit, and opened a dispute with paypal and the other party that recieved the money (gumtree for some reason) anyone know what else i can do?

the bloke whos selling it swapped his starbo for it, but doesnt like the vtec and wants a turbo again. im pretty sure you could pull more out of it than 250 as well tbh. looked on some peoples specs on civic life and there not shy at all

according to civic life its an awesome setup. lots of torque when standard, and when mapped produces a lot more power and torque

thought id put this in this area as its not to do with starbos can be moved if the mods wish. ive been looking at civics and tegs this week, came across a civic ep3 today thats had a bit of an engine re build. it has a k20 head (stock from a ep3 yes?) and a k24 block from an accord type r. the bloke selling it says with a map it should push 250 brake. does this sound realistic? and yeah i have posted on civic life to ask there lol any help much appreciated

to be fair im not intersted in a ep3 in the slightest, there common as dog shit and i just find them boring. but its just the fact that you can get one with say 70k on a 02/03 plate for the same price as a teg thats done over 100k and is 2/3 years older. anyone got opinions on 200sx's?

im selling my v as i have just lost the love i had for it. the car i buy needs to be my daily, for a while anyway as i cant afford to insure 2 cars. now im either looking for something drift, something that is track capable (teg or civic etc) or just something smart that runs on the devils fuel but can be re mapped up to a good standard my thoughts are so far, a 200sx (found one thats been almost fully re cond with proof) an mx5 or a mr2 track wise ive been mesmerised by tegs all week, had a good look at civic type r ep3's and thats about it really unless anyone else has any good ideas?? and for the boring side of things, i dont really know what to look for thats jap and deisel. i like the look of the 150brake sporthatch astras, dad used to have one and it was quick. they can be re mapped to above 200brake and enough torque to spin the world backwards, or a golf gttdi (but these have all been round the world a million times) if anyone has any ideas on anything else or opionions on what i should go for with a reason why or why not itd be really helpful ill have about 4k to spend max i think.
