  3. I have found an abandoned car which has been sat in the same position for the last two years, its in a carpark under my mates flat and has sat there for over 2 years without moving. Its covered in dust, flat tyres but otherwise mint.   6. Finally home, hell of a trek back had a great day at tuning developments, was great to meet you Mike and car goes like a bloody rocket! We managed 273.3hp at the fly, 230hp at the wheels with an EMB, we settled on 1.3 bar as my gizmo boost controller started getting a bit erratic holding boost set at 1.4bar and was spiking so something i need to look at, but well chuffed with 273 at 1.3, usually they make about 270-280 at 1.4bar so i made that at 1.3 so was a great result.   8. I found engine oil a bit thin when i built mine, I bought some from demon tweeks on ebay, was about £8, its thick and doesn't run like oil ;) worth the ££££.

    there you go Kbond bargain from steve-gers you will have this fixed in no time for bugger all although once you get it fixed you might want to double check your boost levels, strange its gone like that at 1bar, that should be fine, maybe it was spiking?

    Well the lad is tight for funds so no point putting an athena gasket on, the standard one will be more than adequate. I have got 2 spare pistons which are not damaged, although you will need to take your pistons out and check all 4 for cracked ring lands, when i checked mine two had broken, so check all of them. Once you remove the piston the crack will be very obvious and the ringland will literally fall off usually. The standard pistons come in 3 sizes, 1, 2 and 3, it will be stamped on the top of the piston, you will need to swap the pistons with the same size, i think i have two si

    Most of the work is labour, so get your dad to do it, i have some spare stock pistons you can have for free, all you need to buy then is a head gasket, i believe toyota say you can reuse the head bolts as they are not the stretch type and with it being only 5 months old, you should be ok.

    yep i am with Socks, any oil blowing out of the top breather is cracked ringlands. Easy to fix if your keeping the engine as is, just take out the damaged piston, swap the rings onto another stock piston and put it back in. That way you wont have to deglaze the block to fit new rings, which will be a royal pain in the ass for you!

It was when i had my GT on the CT9 turbo raggin hell out of it lol, trying my best to not let this guy beat me Look at the videos he made the cheeky basdard ha ha "Pesky Toyotas"" I fly past in the Black GT, i am on a session with all CVR4's some of them were quick!   18. If your changing from a NA to a turbo charged, the valve springs will need to be changed, the 4efe and 4efte engine use different springs in the head. I wouldnt bother paying for Cruise springs as they are quite expensive and only really needed if your going extreme power, stock will be fine for over 300hp!
