No problem mate yes I noticed in a lot of threads that are similar to this one have not been finished so it was very frustrating for me as you can imagine lol Thanks again!
Old thread but the problem is now solved. Oil rings were ruined! Car is in the process of being forged so not long until boosting again! Thanks to everyone who gave information and help in the thread! Anyone that has this issue, I would recommend get a leak down test done rather than a compression test. Although compression test is very good. A leak down test will pinpoint as to where the problem lays. Hope this is of some help. Thanks again
Brought a 255lph Walbro fuel pump from t-dog was as described and arrived in good time. Thanks mate would buy from him again without hesitation. Thanks.
Do you mean Jordan's blue glanza? http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/67180-jords-v-400bhp-build/page-22 Quarter way down the page the oil filler cap! Lol
Mine made the same noise. Mine was the bottom pulley catching on the timing cover on the bottom. Whilst the engine is running just push just above the bottom pulley on the timing belt cover. Be careful obviously because the engine will be running. When I done this the noise went. And as soon as you let go the noise comes back. Hope this helps mate
If it does turn out to be the rings then try and source some rings from somewhere is my only suggestion. When you have results post them up. I'm sure it will be something silly 4efte conversion ;) lol
I would say leak down test mate. I know you say there expensive but they give far better results than a compression test. At least this way you you eliminate all aspects!(fingers crossed) Hope this is of some help.
Emanage blue is a piggy back ecu that runs along side your standard ecu. It enables tuners to adjust fueling etc and therefore is a mappable ecu. Its certainly not a bad thing to have say to speak. If your plan to run more power or up boost levels then it could well be essential unless you swap it out for a p+p ecu.
It's being forged at the moment lol got to wait for my turbo kit aswell! Should be ready though. Got some running in to do once it's complete so maybe this will enable me to rack some miles on her lol
I have to agree with matt1978. I have just ordered the WEPR Billet wheel td04 hybrid kit. I have never been in a td04 starlet EVER but I am willing to sacrifice 300 rpm for it to pull hard to the redline. Don't get me wrong I do love spool on a ct9 but as mentioned. They run out of puff and is very noticeable.
That's a very good price, I'm looking into dean at rw developments now just seen some of his work on FB and it's very good Thanks mate but ideally looking for complete system, thanks for the offer though
