  1. If you plan to carry on running the jam ecu then you cannot get it mapped. Just to clarify the engine doesn't need mapping it's the ecu. To answer your question though. It should be fine to run the jam ecu with your setup. I would advise on getting the fuelling checked though for piece of mind
  2. That's a lot of money mate, you could do it yourself. It's very straight forward job for someone with basic knowledge. It's mostly just common sense. You can also do it with the head on and putting rope down the spark plug hole. I say have a crack yourself mate if you feel confident enough. There are plenty of people willing to give info on here.
  3. This was a standard ct9 before I sent it to Liam for rebuild and made hybrid. Cant fault them. They are very good. Especially when externally gated.
  4. X2 what socks said.. I sold my jam plug and play and will be going emanage blue / ultimate mainly because I feel I will have the potential of my setup.

    Big ends

The knock sensor isnt monitoring engine bearings knocking e.g. Big ends etc etc. it's monitoring det, pre ignition in other words. I would suggest having the ignition timing checked first of all. Hope this helps. As for the ACL bearings. Yes they will be fine for your car but unless the shells are worn then I wouldn't feel the need to replace. Hope this info helps.
  6. Sounds insane mate. What exhaust do you run socks?

  12. At this time I am just seeing what's out there. I am after an externally gated td04 kit preferably a WEPR, zisco or race tech kit. Must come with the following items: Td04 rotated and ready to fit (must be in good condition) Manifold Downpipe Oil and water lines Drain pipe I do NOT need an external wastegate as I already have a tial one. Just to clarify I am just seeing what's out there at the moment so I d

    Head needed!

I'm sure Russ78 had a recon head in for sale section and cheap IMO.
  16. TPS - throttle position sensor Do a search using the search bar. I'm sure I've read before about someone having issues with TPS sensor causing hunting and idle problems. Could also be the ICV - Idle control valve. Also did you do what whitenoize said? Could have got the vacuum lines mixed up on bottom of throttle body..?
  17. Lovely car mate, it's going to be an animal! I'll take a guess between 420-430bhp. One of my favourite v's by far
  18. Check all vacuum lines and boost pipes are connected properly i.e.. not kinked etc and condition of pipes. I'm sure this has come up before and someone mentioned TPS sensor. Either way I hope this helps.
