Taking off the rocker cover today to check for blockages in the breather system. If anyone has any other suggestions please feel free to comment thanks.

Video of my problem!! This is on idle after a drive of around 5miles in total. Very small amounts of boost whilst driving around. I have also noticed the car seems to hold back when going to boost, its as if there is no power and then I get all power back suddenly. I'll have a look and feedback to you thanks for your help mate. I'm fitting the turbos and all being primed with king lead off and oil drain off and crank, wait few seconds then crank again until oil comes out drain hose

Sorry I keep editing the thread to make it as accurate as possible. I appreciate your comment but it doesn't explain the blown turbos. I did have this at the back of my mind but if this is the case I will do the work and sell up. Thanks again mate

The following have been replaced in the past 3 weeks. Valve stem oil seals Turbo (FRESHLY rebuilt by midland turbos) been on since 8th may (yesterday) done 50miles at the most Head gasket New braided oil feed pipe I fitted my old turbo for a few days and had no smoke whatsoever. But whenever I fit this hybrid it seems to ALWAYS go wrong. The turbo is primed each time at fitment and always warmed up and cooled down before given any boost. The car seems to smoke intermittent but more often than not it will smoke. It seems to smoke In all driving conditions (when it's smoking). Mainly und

I used my hands, put the cam in a vice and turn the "outer" gear until it lines up with hole and get a second person to put a bolt through. It's not easy but is achievable it does hurt your hands for a couple seconds but just make sure your second person is quick with the bolt

I am thinking about getting some to "bling" up my bay a little. I was just wondering. Does the set come with the ct9 water hoses? X2 pieces that come off the thermo housing? Thanks in advance

I use vw sump sealant works a treat!

Just check the sprak plug is tight mate and also might be worth changing the spark plug seals aswell

Thanks for the info mate. Much appreciated I dont think glanza clutches are the same as n/a. N/a clutches are 200mm and glanza/gt are 212mm. Correct me if im wrong though please.

I shouldn't think so because you are not adding anything that could "potentially" add more more power. I assume your map was already with the tongs hybrid?

Thanks H for your input. Im going for valve stem seals and hg along with a few other bits whilst its all apart. I have purchased some valve stem seals and a few other parts now thanks anyway mate much appreciated!!

Thanks mate i am going to be ripping everything apart and checking it all anyway. Do valve seals and hg at the same time. New piston rings etc etc. no problem mate I will keep you updated!

Following our phone call today Liam I am going to attempt at rotating the compressor housing on my old turbo and see if I can fit that. I will then let you know what happens regarding that I am pretty sure it's not the turbo. When It idles it's now just "white-ish" smoke until the throttle is pressed which would then turn to thick blue when the throttle is pressed. Thanks mate.
