  5. To install a AVCR boost controller into my car what other modifications are needed to do this. Do I need the 3bar map sensor or will I be ok with the standard one? What comes with the boost controller when buying a new one? As I plan on buying a used one and would like to compare whats with the used one. Thanks
  6. As a vw van tech we see these faults all the time with the new common rail engines. I must say we get the fuel pump problems with metal filings all the time of which then the whole fuel system is then replaced. Looking at the faults you have in the system could suggest injectors due the rail pressure at its max. Do you have a diagnostic Machiene if so are you able to read the rail pressure off of the fuel pressure sensor? I'm sure the rail is usually at around 230-250 bar, if it's a common rail engine? Again I hope this is of some help.
  7. Does the car have a lift pump in the tank? This sounds like it could be faulty. The fact that it runs after degreaser would suggest the fuel system isn't priming on start up. Hope this helps.
  8. Looking for a External Wastegate 38mm with 14.5 psi (1bar) spring. I have around £70. New or used. Please PM with you've got
  9. Makes sense mate thanks. At the moment I don't have a boost controller but do plan to get one soon. For now think I'll just get one bar spring then get a .7 bar spring when I get boost controller. Thanks again mate.
  10. Will it be ok to run one bar of boost on a .7 bar spring? Or will I need a 1 bar spring then run spring pressure? Thanks in advance.

  16. I am going to be running a ct9 at 1 bar on a jam p+p ecu. I have a adjustable fpr and just wondered what the fueling should be set to I understand that the ecu will up the fuelling but do I need to raise the pressure on the fpr to compensate? The fpr is not a rising rate it is just an adjustable one. Thanks in advance

  19. I have just checked out the website for king engine bearings. Looks as if they do a wide range from performance bearings to OEM. Wonder what there prices are like...? Might be something worth looking into. I'm going to change the bearings on my Glanza when I get paid keep me updated please Adam, if that is something you was going to be purchasing, Might be worth a try. Dependent on price that is! Lol
  20. I was always under the impression that ACL where really good bearings. I bet the price difference between Toyota and ACL is a big difference though....? I've never heard of king engine bearings though Adam..
