No idle is perfect at 800 rpm no bouncing, 1200 cold 800-850 warm gna have a good look tomorrow. Thanks for all the help -

Just to clarify I don't have poly mounts nor do I have TRD ones. Looks like new engine mounts are needed then. Thanks -
Any ideas? I think it could be engine mounts but want to see if anyone else has experienced this..?

Willing to split these. PM if interested. CT9 Race-tech tubular Manifold - £290 - comes with brand new stud and nut kit. Race-tech CT9 Screamer pipe - £210 - comes with plate to seperate waste-gate and turbine. £490 for the pair + £10 postage.

i have one in the for sale section if your interested. does blow very slightly on idle. its a race tech one and only fitted for two weeks. ricky has advised to get a plate welded into the turbo and i will supply this plate to the buyer. i also have a race tech ct9 tubular manifold. nice and easy job, just replace gasket aswell, just use LOTS of wd40 and take your time. if you drain coolant then you will need to replenish this aswell and bleed coolant system afterwards. also what socks said.. be carefull with the feed/return pipe. i had this problem, was too careless unbolting it and it snapped.

Item For Sale: Race-tech CT9 Tubular Manifold And Race-tech Screamer Pipe. Item Condition & Description: I have used this for two weeks on my car and have now got to the point of wanting to go externally gated. This kit has a VERY MINOR blow on idle and can be resolved by having a plate welded into your turbo before fitment (plate will be supplied to the buyer). The fabrication work gone into these are just unbelievable as most of you know race tech make some amazing parts and these are a perfect example of the things they make. No ricky said it.. it would stop the blow if I had a plate welded into it. Im just going to pm him and see if he can do anything for me.

I can understand what your saying this probably should have been tried and tested. I don't want to drop Ricky in it because he has done an amazing job of the screamer i just wish it was a better seal I think I'll have to pm him aswell and find out what can do for me. I was told to have a plate welded in my turbo but I don't see why I would need to weld into my turbo because then that would mean if I ever change my mind I would need a new one

Ricky did tell me that there is a possibility it would blow but its just mental amounts! I may just have to see what dean can do ill pm him!

Can this manifold be modified to suit external waste gate? Or would this be to much hassle?

This was my next step tbh, race tech is a 2 hour drive just may have to take a trip! Once I got it fitted I thought to myself that is a master piece lol but this is exactly why I wanted a race tech mani and downpipe!

There is mate but it doesn't seal very nicely when I took it to this company they basically measured the inside of my turbo housing against the downpipe and there was a 2mm gap way round so what he done was add to the plate then file off little bits until it was as tight as possible.. Really debating getting rid and getting just decat without screamer :/ but its looks MINT and just seems a shame to get rid..

Right guys I set about fitting this at the weekend My problem is it blows through the whole rev range and slightly on idle, you are all probably going to say go external waste gate but too late now I've brought it and fitted it. Lol do you guys have any suggestions on how I could get it to stop blowing, I have spoken to Ricky and he has told me to get a plate welded into the turbo housing to seperate the waste gate and turbine. I took the turbo, downpipe to a company near my area and he has told me that it is not possible unless I get it cold welded? I just want to see if there is any other
