  1. Mocked them up, but there is a bit of a snag.
  2. Sure is Colin. Will be mounting them to the engine shortly. First wash in two years
  3. Out of the garage today for some relocation. And of course, another teaser.
  4. Cheers. Small update, finally getting some brake pipes sorted. Managed to get a set to be left with a local company to make a full set of replacements as I could really refresh them the way I'd like. Should also have another surprise by the weekend.
  5. How's the cold idle? Are you having to warm up for a few minutes before driving or have you set the idle higher? I'm going to be running a link ECU shortly, looking to fuel very rich while cold then cut back the mixture once warm, so I'll let you know how I get on with that.
  6. How's the car running now with the ITB's?
  7. Thanks I haven't tried the alternator yet, need to Polish it up first. Got the fuel rail, regulator & rx8 injectors fitted.
  8. It is laughable the information provided on social media.
  9. I'll just leave this here as a tease.
  10. Afternoon all, Over the recent months, I haven't been as active as I ought to, but I feel now is a good time to speak up. What on earth has happened?! I just happened to be reading through a few Facebook posts and was completely gobsmacked by the ridiculous information which was being passed. A 4E-FTE having stronger rocker arms than an N/A. Confusion that a 4e was fitted in the factory as standard. Unwillingness to understand 4th & 5th generation e-series engines share the same cylinder head. The above also applies to 4E-FTE and N/A cranks, due to the '4et' markings. Seriously fol
  11. I'm after a set of the shims out lined in the below photo.
  12. Already had you from back on PS3 Matt. Anyone else joining in?
  13. Anyone on here still playing this? Us northern Irish lot have a good lot on, anyone else want to get in on it? - send your PSN names over.
  14. A fleet operator will not post a dealership an original V5 for a start. A hire company such as Lex Autolease, may lease 500 vehicles to one company, they are not going to know who the end user is. Thirdly a lot of cars have pre-programmed keys from the factory which dealers cannot programme.
  15. Just sharing from experience, having worked for three different manufacturers in main dealerships. Should a key be lost a new key can be applied for using the chassis number, a V5 and a driving licence. Just last month, a key was issued using that very information that had been modified and the vehicle stolen. I'm doubting that the site when operating will not be secure, but I would not advise of posting your chassis number to the public. PM, perfectly fine.
  16. Just a hypothetical here. Does anyone know how to order a replacement key from Toyota? I'm guessing not. Let me run you through the process, ring the dealership, quote the chassis number, scan a copy of the V5 & your driving license to them. Sounds like a pretty robust ordering process, doesn't it? Has anyone scanned a copy of a V5 before? If you have you will notice that you cannot identifty the watermarks on the page. So, let's bring photoshop into play, chassis numbers can easily be maniuplated using this programme, like wise a driving license name & number.
  17. Most my photos were blury, any way, here's what I've salvaged
  18. Yes, flying over for the day, and tickets are courtesy of Mazda UK, thanks for a Fb competition.
