  1. Looking forward to the before and after photos. I bought a kit of ebay for £10.00, but they aren't very bright.
  2. Welcome to UKSO!
  3. Looks really clean mate! Health to enoy
  4. Thought I would through up a quick build thread of my Dad's Landy. He has had it since 1999 and it has came a long way since then. It's a 1992 Land Rover Defender 110 200TDI. It was bought with the intention of being off the road every weekend, but hasn't seen the mud since about 2007. I was an ex-water board, so was well looked after. Spec List 3 inch lift kit Terrafirma Competition Shocks Steering Gaurd Roller steering bar Tank Gaurd Diff Gaurd 9 tonne winch Safari Snorkle Axel breathers Sailsbury rear Axle (disc brakes) Checker plating - bonnet, wings, rear quarter Rock Sliders Light gaurds Roof Bar A-bar Swinging rear wheel carrier Uprated intercooler Braided brake lines There is other bits & pieces done, but I can remember. There isn't many photo's I can get at the moment, but here are a few. About 2001 After a while of not being used, it started to look a bit worse for wear and needed a lot doing. It was all stripped down, bar the engine. A lot of the chassis need fixing for MOT - a few photos of the build. The rebuild (yes, there not in order, thanks to photo bucket ) Still bits and pieces to be doing. The whole lot needs going over with cutting compound, but you get the gist.
  5. Unknown springs & KYB shocks. I would definitely recommend 50 tyre profile.
  6. Just had a good read through this, savage build mate!
  7. I'll have a check for a spare one. If I find one, its yours for the price of a stamp
  8. Time for a rant! Online races = arrrraaaggghhh 1. People who spin you on purpose 2. People who don't slow down and just crash into you. 3. Cardboard - the race in the sewer you hit a bit of flat cardboard and it flips you about 20ft in the air.
  9. Welcome to UKSO!
  10. As above, make sure you get the fueling setup properly to save any hassle.
  11. Strut Brace is provisionally sold mate, will drop you a PM on Saturday if it's still here. Cheers.
  12. Awesome! Need anymore be said?
  13. 4e-fe or 4e-fte? The general assumption for a 4e-fte is around 200bhp without over doing it.
  14. What are the threads like on the cap & rocker cover? Surely it would take some amount of pressure to blow it off. Would there not be a huge hole in bonnet and a very loud bang?
  15. Yeah, if I were you I'd speak to race tech or tuning developments. Or read a lot of build threads and how to's.
  16. Hmmm, I'll put them on the very long term to do list lol.
  17. Dealer brochure £1.50 - probably around £10.00 all in. http://www.jauce.com/auction/g131620227
  18. I would say there is about £20 - £30 postage on top. http://www.jauce.com/auction/u58793885
  19. You take some cracking photos mate!
  20. If your forging the engine, the bottom end will not be stock. If you are buying forged pistons, you will need to hone the bores in order for the rings to bed in.
  21. I would say so, since the FARB's are the same.
  22. Just spotted this on eBay. Not sure if a rep, looks like a mix of 96 and 98 spec parts. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Starlet-Glanza-v-/281188727160
