  1. Jegs have pacesetter ones, sparktec have obx ones, both are in the US though.
  2. Yeah, once I am back in a good job more n/a tuning can commence. Once it's finished. Drive for a few months then parked up to gather dust lol. Then on to bigger and better.
  3. Haha, this one is staying n/a, but do want a GT within the next year / year and a half. Will be going standalone, hopefully next April time so may run so coils just.

  5. Cheers for the info again Grant. Am I right in think the later gen JDM 4e-fe's came with a DIS? In the above scenario, would it be worth picking up a an ECU and DIS from there. Is there any advantages to running a DIS? Is the build on here Vincent? Also, what engine, I assume FTE?

  8. I was planning on going to JAE this year, until circumstances changed. I worked it out that going Dublin to Holyhead would cost about £150-200 more than going Belfast - Liverpool. Even factoring in fuel costs, it would probably be cheaper for you guys south of the border to travel from Belfast.

  10. Not really clued up at all on ignition systems. So the question is what options are there? Coil packs - how hard to set up, pros and cons? Ignition amplifiers - once again, how hard to set up, pros and cons? Also what is DIS setup? Thanks in advance.

  14. The nos stuff melted my fuel lines. I had bought fuel specific fuel lines and it ate through them. Didn't see any gains whatsoever. I actually took a sample from my tank and stuck a new bit of hose with simple in a glass and within 24 hours the hose had turned soft and gooey. Make of that what you will - faulty lines or pure acid?

  18. You would best getting your own carbon dipped.
  19. The pot hole needs to be marked to claim it back. There is certain criteria which still needs to be met. If the wheels have been changed from the manufacturers specifications they must have the same dimensions. So if your car came standard with 15 inch wheels and 50mm tyre profile, you need to have the same spec wheels for them to pay out. My dad successfully claims for an IS200 wheel, completely standard though.
