  1. I suugest them, as i think are the new design. Old design is the standard 4efte injector New design is rx8 injectors In my case, I could get idle stable with 15afr max, on stock injectors. With the 360cc rx8 injectors I can idle down to 16 and a lot more smooth. Also crushing with as low as 16.5. Previously only down to 15.5 before affecting drivability.
  2. Evo injectors are 560cc... like from Evo9... Don't use oldschool fat denso injectors. Find the new slim plastic ones, with multiple injection holes. So much better idle, you can run leaner due to better fuel atomization, getting more power and better millage.

    16inch wheels

Not my favorite design, but let me know your offer...
  7. Looking for a front grill and turbo bonet. Anyone have something stashed away in their garage?

    16inch wheels

Looking for a set of 16inch alloys, nice JDM looking wheels. Off course 4x100 and in a relative good cosmetic condition. No bend wheels, etc. With tyres or without... Let me know what you got...
  9. I see... The E6X I use is pretty old school ecu. Lacks on features like VE tuning, traction control, canbus, etc. The current model like mine is the sprint 500. It's good for a basic 4 cylinder engine like the starlet, but has ve and can. To be honest, you can't beat a megasquirt on the price/features...
  10. Reliable? By what meaning? The hardware is good... The mapping it's up to the tuner...
  11. The dyno is with stock TMIC, stock ecu, stock CT12 turbo, boost something like 0.65. It had full exhaust and dp and HKS intake, iridium plugs and KV85 wires. Now it's much more powerfull, i will do some fine tuning on my ignition map and dyno it around christmas vacation. The car weights ~800kg.
  12. I realized that i haven't updated the thread for quite some time... Just about a year ago, the stock TMIC was ditched for a nice FMIC, originally i think is for some GTR. It is of delta-fin type, "Apex-i" like core, and has cast tanks. The pipe work is all custom, stainless 47mm ID. Didn't noticed any lag change... The engine bay looks so much better now Then the car got a Toyota C turbo, originally used on diesel engines, probably corona taxis. The spool time remains the same, it is bolt on to stock dp and manifold and the performance is similar to the ct9 till ~0.
  13. Why don't call GAB? They seem to have good support...
  14. Really? Mine has ~270.000, runs on CT12 diesel turbo at 1.2bar. Except from valve seals, nothing else is needing attention... Still strong compression ~168 on all cylinders... Others just slap on a T25 Garret turbo, with and emange blue and some injectors and run them at 1.5bar... Stock internals.
  15. This would need alot of work to fit... Why dishing the trusty 2etelu?
  16. I have some used. High quality decommissioned stuff from military helicopter. I don't know what they cost as is, but each fitting cost around 100 usd new, cause it's real aircraft quality. Same design with goodridge, earls etc... If interested just let me know and could arrange something...
  17. I thought that all 5efhe engines had the acis intake. It needs an additional vacuum solenoid and an rpm switch (like a shift light).
  18. I don't have even a 4efte of my own... I run a 2etelu, but i have tuned some friends' cars one turbo, one na with fhe cams and 4efte springs. I recon that with the acis intake and corolla exhaust manifold (the first version with 4efe, 88ps) you can get more than 95ps on a stock 75ps 4efe. Also, in the 5efhe the system should change at around 3800-4000, depending on TPS reading, if i'm not wrong.
  19. I personally switch runners at 4500, but I haven't experience with a stock 4efe with only the intake. But the combo intake and cams is worth it.
  20. The tubular intake is overrated in my opinion... Acis is the best, both for na and turbo. Then I would say the turbo intake, then the stock then corolla... The stock intake is pretty decent and can cope with around 140 na HP... That's what spec racing cars where running, along with cams, ecu, injectors, pistons, TRD gasket and a mild exhaust setup...
  21. Yes, but why? I can't see how a na 1.3 engine will use near 300cc injectors...
  22. The one by the brake booster should be for the charcoal canister vent. You remove this and the canister, plug the line going to the intake, put the line from the gas tank to a breather or with a small inline filter to a hole in the chassis rail. That's what carb cars do. The other valves the one with the cylindrical thing on it is for the air con. Idle up valve... All those valves that one line is going before the throttle body and one after, can be removed, but the idle would fluctuate when the related accessories are operated.
  23. 2e engine is very strong. Can cope with t25 size turbo at over 1.3bar. I run a Toyota c turbo from diesel engine, bolt on. I run 1.2bar, with standalone ecu, I think should be around 200+.
  24. Stock pressure is 3bar with vaccum line not connected. Are you running bigger injectors?
