  2. I've always had a thing for Kei cars. A Storia X4 is on my wishlist I think though!
  3. It's probably my favourite toy lol Watching vids on youtube now about making exploding bolts. Bosh. On topic, my misses lives in Manc, I'm here atm. Was the astra completely standard? That was potentially nicked too mind.
  4. http://www.bladesandbows.co.uk/armex-tomcat-mk2-80lb-self-cocking-pistol-crossbow-2143-p.asp I've got one of these, £30 now! That's bang for buck. It can punch a hole in the steel kickplate at the bottom of the doors at work, or put a metal bolt about 2 inches into a tree. If I caught someone in the act of stealing my car I'd have no hesitation in sticking a bolt in one of there limbs. Quick to recock too.
  5. Crossbows are only £40 online. That would stop the swines.
  6. Had 2 Altezzas, one of which was boosted. Got a lot of time for a good Tezza!
  7. For the sake of your wallet listen to the recommendations in your thread or buy a Volvo T5 lol
  8. Celica GT4. Just thought I'd put that out there.
  9. That or a charger, youtubing integra supercharged is enough to make my wallet twitch ffs. This is a weapon now chap.
  10. An estate, a hot hatch and a convertible. Epic selection! I like these legacys, tidy bus
  11. I'd seriously try and get an extended test drive in one. They may both be Jap but they're 2 completely different cars. An Evo puts the power down ridiculously well, but after the initial; my god this is quick is over... I didn't find it as fun. Part of the fun of a Starlet is that it's a noisy tin can that goes like stink. That's the main thing I miss about my Starlets. They don't handle all that well, they're irritating as a daily drive but when the times right, there's not much thats as fun to drive, yeah the Evo would chew the starlet up on a twisty road but... It wouldn't make me smile
  12. Bloody hell I heard about this on the radio! Sorry for your loss bud.
  13. Looks pretty clean from the pic. How much boost are you aiming for?
  14. Jesus this build threads like an episode of eastenders.
  15. Whered you get the turbo? Tidy motor
  16. Boost leak? Low compression? Heat soak? Atmospheric differences? Different Dyno? Different/shit oil? Stagnant fuel? Leaky wastegate/actuator? Cracked manifold? Leaking gasket? Slipped timing belt? Carpet stuck under the accelerator? Sticking throttle body? Take your pick it could be anything tbh it's just going to take some serious detective work.
  17. Your threads made my wallet twitch. Been eyeing these up for a while now so might take the plunge when I get back from Canadia, I like it.
  18. Got a lot of time for these. You looked into Waxoiling where the subframe mounts to the chassis? Could be worth getting a set of reinforcement plates aswell. I didn't bother on my last E46 and regretted it massively when the subframe started to 'drift' Edit; I'd personally say it's a necessity if your using it hard on coilies
  19. My mate frequents Japan. Recently imported himself a JDM wife too. It's really worth getting a travel guide on Japanese etiquette before you go, easily offended people and knowing some of the weird manners they have over there can get you a long way! Especially if your going exploring.
  20. Are the sensors originals or cheap Chinese tat? The gist of these threads tells me this; take someone with you next time you buy a car. Haha
  21. Trust me mate if I was going to use someone else's pictures id have picked someone better looking than me!
  22. There's a valid reason that insurance companies class them as a 2.7, they can't be measured in the same manner as a piston motor. This chap explains it better than me; http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/off-topic-discussion/dispelling-the-rotary-displacement-myth/43487/page1/ That evos tidy as. Very much like.
  23. Did wonder, I sold it to a chap in London. God knows when/how it got to Glasgow! haha
