Camskill, I'd works, they do I think mate -
Smaller intercooler? Depends on the turbo/boost you run though. I only used a small core (half the size of a HDI core) to cool a 300bhp Altezza effectively.

If its not been done already, the autos have a different tps to the manuals mate

Might not of been your fault, if there was a little bit of diesel on the road that can just send you off like an ice puck. Good job there's no proper damage done! Good luck bud. -

My mate did the same thing last year, hit diesel in his Cooper S, slid into a field and stopped relativeley unharmed. Got out and an Escort followed him into the field and wrote the car off. Was kinda funny. Good luck getting it sorted! -
I had one for a few months this year, loved the handling, hated the engine after a while! After driving big engined torquey cars/turbo'd little rockets it just felt a little bit like hard work. BUT, I would have utterly adored it if I had boosted it. The handling made up for everything else, such a fun car!

But then if the tubby is only oil cooled surely the turbo and your oil is going to be hotter. 2 sides to every argument :-P

I've bodged a boot out like that before by cutting a slot in it, grabbing a chisel and smashing the fuck out of it until it came undone. EDIT: Bolt. That green beret made me think boot.

HELP! Fuel cut at 5k onwards 3-4-5 gears
Addymk2 replied to Snazzyblowfish's topic in Ignition & Fueling
So all it does is restrict the airflow to your turbo. I see. -
how much are these blitz alloys worth????helllp
Addymk2 replied to john fraser88's topic in Lifestyle General
If you split them remember to seal them up poperly again. Should look good once they are refurbed -
Ahaaaaa, I was just under the impression that the same boost pressure on a bigger turbo would throw in more air, therefore need more fuel so an adjustable FPR would be needed. If the standard ecu can handle it though fair enough, every days a school day!
-
My old Blitz Techno Speeds were bolted and held together with some form of über glue. I whacked them in the oven for half an hour and they pretty much split with no force when they came out. Sure it's a weld and not a resin?
-
BUT that's running some crazy hybrid at 0.8 bar, surely that's going to whack a lot more air in than a CT9? Is that just me being thick assuming that that's going to cause it to run uber lean even at a boost pressure the same as stock?
-
What turbo? I'm intrigued!

HELP! Fuel cut at 5k onwards 3-4-5 gears
Addymk2 replied to Snazzyblowfish's topic in Ignition & Fueling
Creep is when the actuator can't hold a stable boost setting, usually down to the wastegate not being able to hold/release enough pressure. Are you sure that the FCD was wired in correctly mate? And yeah my car was creeping up and hiring fuel cut just with a decat and exhaust! Pain in the rear. -

With all that done I would assume its decatted aswell. When it hits fuel cut how high is the gauge reading? Does It have the ability to show you peak values or anything? Could just be boost creep tbh mate -
Ill find out what she uses later mate once she's outa work. I do like the idea of that site tbh it's a great idea.
