Its Wet, and slippy, perfect for.... Drifting!
  12. Well, with the roads and tracks getting wet, I thought I'd look for something to run about in and take the Glanza off the road. Think I've bought possibly the least ideal winter car going, but sure is fun to drive! 1988 E30 325 Drift Slag! Picked it up from over Nottingham way, off a lad that didnt have a clue about the car tbh. Turns out, he had not long bought it of Neil Yorke, who was camping with us on our stand at JAE. Small world! Any way, here it is... Welded diff, Hyrdo hand brake Ally M3 rad Custom Coilies on front Adj, rear shocks and uprated springs Fully polybushed No heaters/radio/lighting etc. Quick pic in Shell garage, on the way home after I ran out of fuel!! First thing to do, was remove the rear window tints! They had been rattle can sprayed on :| Then we got it on the ramps and gave it a good looking over, everything is solid! While we were there, gave it a good going over with wax oil! Only took 2 mins with the spray guns, win! There was no anti-freeze in the water, so dropped it, and filled it with some fresh anti-freeze! And even gave it a clean! After a CHEAP bucket seat, if anyone has got an old tatty thing going CHEAP let me know?!
  13. Or an E30 Drift slag!!
  14. I'll be there, taking the E30 Drift slag though, I'll out some toyota badges on it ;)

  18. Cheers dude! Yeah, it's a good track, we did the GP circuit, need to get some more practice on it though to make use of the wide track! Cheers dude! Yeah, the brakes have made a huge difference to its track performance! Yeah it got slippy lol! Cheers man! Cheers dude! Hahaa, next years aim is to be quicker than them! No chance.. lol Cheers dude!

    Wilwood vs wms

Well I can only go from personal experience. The calipers aren't that heavy, the discs obviously are! But they haver to be, they're bigger an allow the heat to escape better. I haven't noticed any change in handling to the car, other than the fact I'm not on the limit with braking coming into corners like on the standard set-up, therefore allowing better entry to the corner, which means carrying more speed though-out the corner. No point in having light brakes that don't work. And I'm still running the same 15" wheels that were on there, so not a huge change for such a huge improvement
