Yeah I'll try my best! It's just rolled past mid night, but I'm going back into the shed to paint the rocker cover!

Right then, we got the head all shimmed up correctly a few days ago, and built the rest of the engine up. Yeah, ignore the colour of the rocker cover, still haven't decided on the colour! Well, my clutch was taking longer than expected to come, so we temp mounted the block into the car on Wednesday night and filed the inlet manifold gasket out to compensate for the Stage2 Head. Thursday the clutch still hadn't arrived, so we fitted the inlet along with all most of the electrics and injectors etc. (Yeah still haven't painted the rocker cover :/ ) , Today (Friday) I had 2 nice parcels c

If its anything like when my mate changed his Accord Vtec form Auto to Manual it ran like a sack of shit, still sorting it out fully now (6months on). But that's due the the electrics on them being so different for the auto and manual. Looks an easier job on the Glanza though. Jamie

Ahh thanks for the advise, the gasket might need a slight trimming then? And what do you mean by tip the valve head? With what? And I'm still going by the standard clearances aren't I with this head? Jamie

Right, well I was hoping to have built the engine by now, but after finding a few seals etc I didnt have, I had to wait for them to come! Here's how she stand; Athena HG and Stage 2 Head fitted (Using ARP Head Bolts) Rocker Cover sprayed (Needs a respray in a different colour! - Sprayed it 'Red' came out orange) Sump nice and fresh! Just waiting now for a few valve shims to turn up as a few were slightly out. Then going to time it up on Saturday! Red or Black for rocker cover?! Welcome ;) Ill say it how it is, I'd rather have an older Japanese Turbo'd car any day than something n/a and french (Ive been there lol). These are excellent cars in my eyes, and can handle well with the mods. Common problems/faults, I cant say I know of any 'common' faults with them.. Overall, if it's set-up right, they are reliable cars. Jamie
