Jamie1st replied to el_man's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Fuck didn't know it was yours my mate posted it on my wall (we've both got green wheels). Keep an eye out for you! -
Yeah couldn't believe it! Cheers man
-
I need my cooler this way, love it!
-
Love red V's. only thing I'd change is the black roof, red all round would be spot on. Personal preference tho!
-
Possibly take a ride up
-
I'm planning on doing it, really want to do a series that uses propper tracks though. The tracks that TSS use appear to be really tight, more suited to a ct9. Won't know till I've done a few though!

Interested, but not at no where near 2k! -
First thing to do would be to strip it down, not saying it has, but it could fucked a rod too, could have fucked the crank. You need to inspect the crank to see if it's scored, if so, the crank needs to come out, get re--ground, and the acl bearing bought to match. I can't see it will have took a rod out. Although when I spun a shell, I fucked my rod, my crank to the point it had gone to far to re-grind. If that was the case, a new engine would be cheaper. IF you could find one for the right money/know is working

Nice to see one in a different colour, looks tidy mate

Half 8 - when ever I get the jobs that are booked in done, can be 3pm finish, busy days upto about 6pm. Half 8 - 12:30 on Saturday Mobile Service Engineer on Caravans/motorhomes Thank fuck for a company van, or the starlet would have been long gone!!
-

Looks tidy man!
-
Tidy John, wheels don't suit it, you need to sell me them.... ;)
-
At the end of the day, they are free to remove and put to standard, when I picked my Glanza up it was hitting fuel cut at 5k rpm. Looks a tidy Glanza dude!
-
The r32 is the best skyline to date. R33 is like a boat haha, I'd sooner own an r32 over my Glanza, but I'd rather own a starlet n/a over an r33!!
-
I think it could work! I like things that are different!
-
Yeah I can't believe how well It has came out from it, my spare wheel well was bent a little but straightened most of it out

So after the last update, I've temporarily sprayed my cage black and fitted it for japfest at combe. Also stripped the front down and cleaned everything up, inner arch liners out and re-wax oiled everything. Looking fresh again With the gearbox whining, I said I would take a steady drive down to coombe, not long into the journey, I couldn't resist Anyway, after we got out tickets for japfest from the meet point, I thought I'd head out to the track early to get the car ready for the stand. Worst mistake me and my mate did.. We were all on stop waiting to be

100deg is fine considering the car was being put through its passes for 15mins. 110+ is where i'd start to back off, even then, they say that the oil I use (Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5w/40 - now moving to 10/50) is good at 130deg without loosing it viscosity. I should imagine running lower boost levels etc you won't see anywhere near 100deg. In all fairness, last year at donnington I was only seeing max 90deg. Bigger cooler would be more beneficial if the temps were too hot, but they're not. Another advantage though of a bigger cooler, it allows you to hold more quantity of oil.
-
I had this, the wiring on jap cars goes brittle, check for a broken wire at the temp sensor, mine was only broke enough to loose contact when I was under boost, then return to normal when it made contact again.
-
I will do dude, Yeah that was with an oil cooler. My temps usually sit a little lower than that on track, but I think I need a thicker oil now its getting warmer weather
-
Yeah I'm going to look into it, I might try using the slates on the sides of the varis bumpers! We shall see! What weight oil you using socks? Im onto 10/50 now, well will be when I do it this week Haha yeah, it was the one I replaced after I snapped it at Santa Pod last year, maybe the grease supplied wasn't up to it

wait for it, wait for it, wait for it... shitt! boooooooooost!!!! Cant wait to see more!!!
