  1. Ok thanks so no screws or anything just give it a good firm pull towards the centre of the car starting with the edges?
  2. As some of you may (or may not) know I am in the process of switching my omp design 2 seats and cobra harnesses for standard seats and seatbelts. Standard items should be arriving today and omp's going away at the same time but I could do with some help on a couple of things. Question 1 Where does the loop part of the seatbelt (that goes between the door and seat) bolt onto? I have found 1 bolt hole but can't find the other. Was told it's near the back and there is a slit in the carpet but there is no slit in my carpet at all? Question 2 How do you remove the rear doorcards to fit the seatbe
  3. Sorry to bring up an old thread but just seen these on youtube and had to answer the question haha. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQxvowrAUNY&feature=related
  4. Aye they were really nice but a full recaro leather interior is wasted in a corsa tbh lol. Still kinda miss it though even though it was a moneypit haha.
  5. Each to there own most people do seem to put in scooby wrx seats or evo seats though. I used to have a set of recaro's in my old corsa redtop and they were the comfiest seats I've ever sat in. They had been sent away along with the rear bench and front + rear doorcards for a retrim by recaro and looked awesome.
  6. There really comfy and hold you in the seat well. There a fair bit bigger than the standard seats aswell (width and height) and combined with harnesses are awesome seats imo.
  7. Well there £250 each new and the runners are £30 each so that's £560 before you even make subframes up. Kicking myself for selling the lot so cheap but needs must
  8. lol I tend to use bank of mum for loans and if she's not lending then it's bank of gran haha. If i held out I think I could get 400 but need standard seats badly as it's a nightmare betting a baby in and out the back with them + harnesses.
  9. Parts I want always seem to come up cheap when I'm skint haha. Never know the deal may fall through and they could still be for sale. thought I would have had more interest at £300 delivered, only 4-5 people have offered me things for them and only 1 was cash lol.
  10. Yeah only problem is I can only find 1 bolt hole (my harness currently is bolted in here) but just been told the other 1 is further back near the rear bench and there is a slit in the carpet so will have to look for it lol. Also I think the seats may be sold just waiting for payment.
  11. Car came with harnesses so had to buy a full seatbelt setup as I'm changing it back to them. Have it all sourced but need help with fitting them. I know how to fit the seatbelt buckle to the seat and the triangle bit to the B pillar and if I'm not mistaken the seatbelt reel/tensioner thing bolts in behind the rear doorcard? But the main problem is the loop part that goes between the door and the seat, where does it bolt to?
  12. My mate has a nice clean nova. Maybe not everyones cup of tea but I like it.
  13. Kevin bridges in the passenger seat.
  14. Yeah I have mailed him through tgtt to ask for the price of a ct9 mani delivered so will write now to ask about customs. If i'm not mistaken wepr and zisco are just as good as each other?
  15. It will be power steering belt most likely. There's a guide on here or tgtt that shows how to tighten the belt.
  16. Do you mean you didn't pay or you didn't get charged? lol
  17. Only need a drivers one but needs to have the rails on it. Think the seatbelts may be sorted but not 100% yet.
  18. Getting a new manifold from either wepr or zisco (as I need a top quality one) but need to know if you get charged from customs for them or not? Heard very good things about both of them also, but does anyone have any bad stories about them? Thanks
  19. Going to be using an Apexi power intake filter soon so it has a 76mm inlet. Would a 45>51 90 degree silicone pipe to a 51mm aluminium hose joiner to a 51>76 90 degree silicone pipe work ok? The leg length of the 2 silicone pipes are 150mm on each leg and I'll put links to the pipes below. 51>45 Joiner 76>51 If these are ok then the total price would be £29.09 which is pretty decent.
  20. fiesta zetec s diesel does really good mpg and are pretty decent once mapped.
  21. Ok thanks for all the replies put my mind at ease a bit, think i'll still take it easy until I get it checked though to be safe. Yeah alot more action over here plus I'm from the UK anyway so makes sense.
  22. Going to order some pipes to relocate air filter to the front of the radiator. Just wondering what size the turbo inlet is so I can find silicone and aluminium 90 degree bends for my filter on ebay.
  23. The other nut hasn't moved I don't think but yeah should possibly get it checked to make sure. Would a gas tester at an MOT station give me a rough idea with the reading or not? If it was detonating due to lack of fuel would the engine management light come on or what symptoms would there be? Paranoid now even though the car drives just the same lol.
  24. There seems to be a lack of replies on tgtt these days so I think I'll be posting on here from now on. Got a rrfpr fitted to my car and was all setup for correct afr but today whilst under the bonnet I checked the nut at the top and it was loose. There is a normal nut close to the body of the rrfpr and a kinda rounded style one on the top of that (which was the loose one) I think this is just the locking one? So i just tightened it down to the normal nut to stop it moving. Will it be ok or will I need to get it checked as I don't think there are any garages near me that check afr's.
