    Glanza

A friend of mine is looking to sell his van and a motorcross bike and has been offered this glanza as a straight swap. The van and motorcross bike are worth £3500 and he was wondering what the glanza would be worth and I didn't want to tell him yes or no. It's pretty much standard(ish) but if anyone knows the car or if it's on here what's it like and if it was you would you swap? Cheers.
  3. Had one of these fitted to my car since I bought it but only just started learning how to work it (kind of lol). Ok so it boosts around 0.8-0.9 on low and 1.1-1.2 on high just now but never really have it on high as I feel it may be too much judging by my setup (listed below). I would like to set it up more accurately for 0.8 on low boost and 1.0 or 1.1 (depending which is the best) on high. The reason I say about is that my boost gauge is where I have been taking the readings and isn't the most accurate thing in the world so will be setting it up using the boost controller readings. Boost is
  4. I will be renewing my manifold soon and thought that I would do the studs and nuts at the same time. Looking through the forums I have found that they are M10 x 1.25 but cannot find a length anywhere. I have found a couple of options on ebay (studs or bolts) and was wondering if anyone could confirm which would be best and if the ones that I list are suitable, long and strong enough. M10x1.25 Bolt (30mm) M10x1.25 Bolt (40mm) M10x1.25 Stud with a choice of 2 nuts (39mm) Any opinions welcome on which to use or recommend different ones. Thanks
  5. Postage is only £3 for that gasket the total for part + postage is just under £20
  6. you just can't tell some people. my ct9 autobus would wipe the floor with it never mind a td04 manual. Idiot.
  7. Doing the washing while I play some PS3 lol.
  8. I have got the rear doorcard off but the actual seatbelt reel/tensioner thing is completely different to the one that should be on my car (will post a picture up later or tomorrow)
  9. Got the seatbelts delivered on monday and just went to fit them just now but there completely the wrong ones. The part that goes into the rear doorcard is massive compared to mine but came out of a quadlight aswell? Any ideas?
  10. Must be 4e with the size of the pistons (74.5)
  11. worth every penny haha. Nah it's a total joke but it's due to all these idiots that can't drive and also the ones claiming whiplash because they crashed at 3mph into a wheelie bin
  12. I think insurance should definitely be mandatory to all motorists but there should be some kind of rebate after not claiming for a certain amount of time.
  13. not sure i'm still running a ct9a with a forge actuator lol
  14. Not sure what's the best way to do it, you would possibly need something that fits over your intercooler piping that has a connection for an air compressor hose at the other end and put 'x' amount of pressure into the piping (making sure its sealed off at the other end somehow) and see if it reduces in pressure over time and if so how fast. Either that or you could use some kind of smoke and see if it escapes out at any of the joints or that.
  15. Don't have any other idea's unless a vacuum leak somewhere would cause it. Maybe best to double check exhaust and inlet manifolds and also boost pipes. You could do a leak test on the intercooler pipes to better check for leaks.
  16. Not yet just plugged it in and agreed with it lol. It runs between 14.0 and 14.4 usually when driving and gives a pretty good indication when turned off as I have tried it on other cars.
  17. Not sure if anyone has seen these but bought one for my car a while ago. Not sure how accurate they are but give you a rough idea what's going on and look ok aswell there are 2 styles, I got 1st one. Style 1 Style 2
  18. Yeah I would of thought so that's why I asked 1st if it was spinning freely. If you could maybe take the air filter piping off and start the car and check to see if it spins or not.
  19. I think you can connect the ewg to a compressor and put a pressure into it greater than spring pressure to test not sure though maybe someone could confirm
  20. Yeah it would eliminate that being the cause but doubtful that it is. Have you double checked all intercooler piping for holes and silicone hoses for damage? Could also be if the pipes don't line up correctly at the joints.
  21. Only other things I can think of is wastegate stuck open, bov stuck open, badly cracked inlet or exhaust manifold, badly worn gaskets. Obviously most things would just cause more lag but just trying to help.
  22. did the turbo spin freely before it was fitted?
