Changing rear brakes on friday and was wondering if my current wind back tool will be ok to use or if I will need to buy something different like this? Thanks.
This is sorted now, for future reference the rear gearbox mount off a manual fits an auto perfectly without any adjustments or alterations and you can use the TRD mounts or standard ones with rubber or powerflex bushes no problem.
I came across this on ebay and was wondering how hard it would be to use it to make your own braided oil feed/return with some fittings and hose etc. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated and yes I know you can buy them already made but there like £60 and I'm sure you could make one cheaper plus I'm on a roll after making an adjustable panhard rod haha.
I'm sure brute force and ignorance will sort it out for me lol. Not looking forward to converting it to manual when I finally get round to it, heard it's a bit of a pain in the ass. Anyway the set of mounts I got consisted of a standard rear gearbox mount (which I have mentioned) and the other 2 are trd ones so should give slightly less vibration if I ever decide to fit them.
It's an auto that I have so on good advice I have bought a manual mount (which apparently only needs a mounting hole widened to fit the auto box) and sticking the powerflex bush in it as they obviously don't make auto ones. Ok should be able to cut the rubber out hopefully as it's ripped to bits anyway, as for the metal ring does it chizel out in one piece or is it a nightmare? Yeah have heard it vibrates a bit but can't be any worse than the vibration just now with a fecked bush.
Ordered a powerflex bush for the rear gearbox mount I just bought and was wondering how easy or hard it is to fit? The old one is pretty dead could I just rip it out and scrape all the rest of the old rubber out or will I need to dril it out? And will the new one just slide in with the grease provided or will I need to press it in? Thanks
All apple products are very overrated and overpriced. A prime example of a paid app on istore which is free on the android market is the BIGGEST SELLING handheld playable game ever.....angry birds. Apple's software is so locked down and controlled it's unreal, much better off with that galaxy tab.
Unfortunately that's the chance you take with 2nd hand cars. If you want warranty buy from a garage/dealer 2200 seems like a pretty decent price for a TD04 EP82, just get some 2nd hand pistons off here and some new rings, head gasket etc.
