  1. I read some even went to 18psi with this setup with an uprated fuel pump , FPR etc. A wideband is a must. I have a JAM ecu and once you go over 10psi, AFR is at 10 flat.....you can occasionally see 10.5-11 but that is quickly brought back to 10 flat on the wideband. Use proper fuel and change your fuel filter as well.

Is the hose connected to your map sensor from the intake manifold?
  3. the original ecu will work with the decat. Once boost levels don't trigger the fuel cut. Keep the boost at 12psi max. How much for the ecu?
  4. Hi Mike, Here in Barbados different grades aren't available at the pump sadly. I think 86 - 90 RON (I would have to confirm that) is what we get. I use octane boost along with that. Thanks for your input by the way mate.
  5. That is a picture of the state of the spark plug. All four of them are like that. http://i1314.photobucket.com/albums/t576/Jason_D_Gibson/plug_zpsa43f2c15.jpg
  6. Just to add. I did the reset and that did not change the the AFR's once the ecu settles. At WOT and 18psi the gauge would show a solid 10. I have seen it going to 10.6 when nearing 8k rpm but the ecu knocks it back to 10. I have tried hotter plugs with a closer gap and I still see the same 10. Note: I read 11.5 - 11.7 only when the boost is under 12 psi. Once you go over, the JAM ecu takes it to a full 10. My AEM reads the 14.7 - 16.5 on idle.
  7. Good Write up. I shared this information with the Starlet group here in Barbados.
  8. I am in the same boat. I have a jam fitted and even at 18psi my AEM is at 10 flat. Once I saw it reading 10.5 but that lasted only for a few seconds. I will try the reset ecu option to see if that makes a difference.
  9. i had this issue last month. Head bolt was snapped. Overflow bottle filled when on boost. Had to eventually lift the head and get a new Head gasket. My head wasn't warped luckily
  10. Question guys? When you moved from the stock ecu to the JAM/Blitz Ecu, did you all get better gas milage?
  11. Did the smoking stop? I am asking as I have on the Toytuning hybrid and I do see smoke when I leave the car to idle. Once I'm driving I see no smoke. As I also have the oil catch can, I want to know if taking it out of your setup solved your problem.
  12. Yeah it is. I put on mine yesterday. Love it already
  13. I just installed on of these with my CT9 setup. As you are using the HKS actuator, extend the length of the arm so you can lower the boost. Just note that what ever the HKS is set at, that will be the minimum boost you will get. From the turbo nipple to the IN of the motor and from the Out of the motor back to the actuator nipple. You need to use a Tee to split the vacuum from either the Map sensor or the fuel pressure regulator onto the controller nipple. Do the electrical wiring and you should be ok. Also set the Dip switches on the back to the correct positions. Set everything to mini
