  1. have them in my glanza! very very solid! have to be very allert driving with them as a slight bump at speed will send you out of your seat, not good for the b roads
  2. you should see 220bhp - 230bhp
  3. no point going for a figure man just get it mapped to a bar and what it makes it makes, lad hear running 260bhp at 1.15 bar on td04
  4. guys in jamaica run 5efhe rods, glanza or gt pistons and 2 hedagaskets so extreamly low compression to run that power! on a stock 4efte 260bhp at fly has bein run but 220bhp is safe
  5. very nice mate, varis front looks well
  6. there was no lack of power mate the hg looked worse for wear tbh so i was kinda glad it went so i could get a new one on there! my stem seals werent good either so i put on a good head i had there just got it skimed. i went with genuine toyota as i got it for 45 euros new from my local toyota! athena was an option but over twice the price when the stock one will be ok
  7. ya its external wg!only job imo, have all parts now bar the mani and down pipe, might come later if not itl be monday or tuesday
  8. lol foggy that trew a rod on me at low revs
  9. yes or it will only run off spring pressure and only have one set boost level, ebc also provide less lag and better control
  10. time to find out what ll this td04 hype is about lol sounds like it fits what i want
  11. well my td04 turbo turned up today and sold my hybrid yesterday so ill be joining the td04 boys lol just waiting on a few parts now and my kit and get it all bolted on and mapped! cant wait i must admit 4 years in starlets and wanting to go td04!
  12. imo this mineral oil to run in is a load of shit.
  13. look into powder coating, dearer but will not flake off like paint doses well worth it imo! and id go white over a grey colour
  14. damn thats a nice glanza the exterior is perfect! love it!
  15. exacly my toughts on the rings, how the hell would a ring with a large gap damage a piston
  16. plugs look good tho, i wouldnt worry too much if its not burning oil or loosing water
  17. fair enought then, and he metioned there arp head bolts.. the can be reused a few times
  18. yes but if you were to rebuild it youd be able to use the parts from it cheaper than new if there ok which imo they should be, so could end up with a cheap forged engine! defo would want to be striped and rebuilt tho
  19. if its cheap id take it, piston is unlikly to be damaged just because of a oil ring! its called capping the rings to the right clearance in most cases so how will it effect the piston? by the sounds of what he done it will just be an oil burner of an engine so your going to rebuild it anyways plus rings are easy got from the maker
  20. looks the same as mine, trd mechanical and its 1.5way
  21. its the same hybrid in my car browner! youl get 350 euros easily and most likly more for that turbo its brand new! and thanks for the text back lol some man
  22. ya im tempted to buy some myself but I've blown my money on a turbo kit lol
