  1. With a multimeter Check the battery with the engine off, should read between 11ish and 12 (considering its fairly new) and with the engine running it should read about 14ish if the alternator is charging properly. Mine did this but it was because I'd drained the battery lol.
  2. There's a few shades of 205, both glanzas and gt's use the one with the most metal flake
  3. Try changing the clutch fluid and flushing it through and bleeding it back up. Cant do any harm trying that.
  4. I'm a saint! I drove him to the dvla! Lol It's taxed and on the road now And speaking of me being a saint, we're going to the lock up now to put my wideband on it to set the Fueling up
  5. This is where it's randomly been registered as a disability car and they won't let us tax it lololol
  6. Mine does it going into 2nd when it's cold. Slightly thinner oil (ATF) helps to stop it.
  7. As I said, I'm using a jperformance decat and it's fine, but my exhaust has a flexi. I'll get some pics of the full set up for you today Alex but I'd say get this bought ;)
  8. I'll take a photo and post it up, I'm not very good at explaining :/ the turbo was only rotated by about 15 degrees. Still points upward compared to a td04 which points down.
  9. Nah wasn't a patch on my ct9 set up tbh. Just seemed laggy as hell and flat as a fart. But more boost and it would have been ok I think. Exhaust was ridiculously loud with te td04 on too? Lol I would go td04 in the future I think, but only with an ecu and remap Is yours mapped?
  10. The turbo only sits a fraction lower. I have a short route hot pipe, an to avoid the hot pipe fouling the cross member the cold side of the turbo was rotated so it pointed slightly more down (fitted it to the manifold on the car, bolted everything up and then just stuck a strong arm in it and give it a bit of a tickle haha I actually did it not Sam, making use of my professional skillz) Oem oil feed fits fine (had a wepr one on for a while and it leaked like a bitch) Oem oil return was slightly too long so just cut it down slightly until I order an uprated one but it seems one as it is now.
  11. By the time I've bought a head, head gasket, head bolts etc it would cost more than a standard ep91 haha. Also I'm paranoid and would end up wanting to do piston rings while the head is off . I'll give Sacha a message, don't expect anything but just for records I suppose. It was the oem oil return. It only sheared because it was ancient and sever so slightly stressed due to turbo sitting a bit lower. Cut it down and it seems fine for now, but I will buy an uprated one soon . I do love the car, but everything happens at the worst of times etc (usually the case I know lol) I'll keep runnin
  12. Fueling too lean. Get a wideband on it just to check.
  13. Screwed onto the stereo brackets usually. Not sure about oem ones.
  14. Yeah a bit gutting really. After everything that's happened this comes along. I would have put a wanted thread up but no doubt people will be wanting stupid money for cylinder heads. No offence to anyone. But I would rather just buy a long block from scrappy and drop the lot in. Saves messing about with head gasket, head bolts, welding and skimming. Yeah plan is to get a cheap and cheerful ep91 na run around and then either swap engines and turbo the na, or gather bits to swap the head. We will see :/
  15. That is coolant temp, goes to the ecu (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Mine wasn't connected for 6 months, reconnected it and it never made a difference :/ lol
  16. Trace the wires from the sensors. Might be a break in the loom.
  17. right, so i got the wepr mani welded right up as it was blowing from a fair few welds. polished the fte rocker cover up with a bit of elbow grease and autosol. i'll have another go at it sometime to get it looking even better, as that was just a couple of hours of sanding it. got some proper toyota gaskets as i've had the manifold and turbo on and off that many times recently i thought a new set of gaskets was in order. during the process of putting the ct9 setup back on, all went well until torquing the last stud up on the manifold, and then there was an almighty bang. couldnt see and dam
  18. Apart from on my old clio, god himself could not remove it!
  19. Yeah as above, but dont t piece and run it to the top unless you have a working ebc in line. I tried doing that and it spiked to about 2 bar without a boost controller lol.
  20. Yeah just have a go, it all makes sense if you just stare at it haha. I've tried loads of different ways of plumbing vac lines to my wastegate, But other things keep dying (such as the ongoing battle with fuel pressure) so I've never gotten round to buying an ebc. Good luck!
  21. Yeah it's the cable, trace it back to the gearbox and there should be a little adapter. Or ou could get a sat nav in the car and see how the clock speed matches to the sat nav. OR you could floor it and see if it will go past 112-113mph. If it does then it's been converted lol
  22. I don't have an ebc so none of my pics would help you I'm afraid boost signal for the side port on the wastegate comes off the turbo (as it would for the standard actuator). T piece into that line, from turbo to wastegate, and from the t piece run to solenoid, then from solenoid to the top port (making sure the ebc solenoid is the right way round according to the air flow direction- towards the wastegate). I'm on my phone or I could have drawn a little diagram in paint haha .
