  1. :/. Try a yaris? Or find a scrappy with some starlets
  2. If you go to any scrapyard you can jut grab a set off a Toyota. Mine are out of a yaris I think
  3. Have you had the wastegate on you're turbo welded? As in the penny washer?
  4. I'll take a photo of mine this afternoon and post it up if you like. Easier than trying to describe it and you accidentally mashing your loom haha
  5. Shame you're not a bit closer :/
  6. Looks clean as! A bit pricey though? Jeez!
  7. Bakercakerson
  8. Haha I'm workin the pea season starting this week or next. Horrible work but bloody good money. Student life haha
  9. Yeah give it a try (mine won't run any richer but every other starlet will haha ). I'm hopefully going across in September for emanage and map
  10. Mine runs at a higher afr than that and it's fine. But every car is different I suppose. And im not telling you to knock the fueling back before anyone starts. Maybe try setting throttle position up with a multimeter. Really it an only be air, fuel or spark, or a sensor doing weird things to the ecu. (don't think it would be the ecu itself). Just going to be a case of eliminating as you try different things. I'd check the gaps on the plugs, check leads dizzy and rotor, then start checking tps, air temp sensor etc. But I am known to be overly paranoid
  11. Yeah my inovites are a lot worse and the tyre is only just starting to bulge as ta ran out of tread anyways.
  12. Ah right I would have love to take the shell off you but I'm right up in hull, way too far
  13. Does the tyre bulge where it's buckled?
  14. maybe try a new set of spark plugs?
  15. Mine was the same, turne out to be Fueling. Even if it doesn't feel like a misfire. Get a wideband on it as check the Fueling I'd say.
  16. Nice
  17. I'll put them in my build bread next time I'm on my laptop. I'm not putting them in here for everyone to tell me my cars not running right and how it's my fault.
  18. Looking forward to seeing this in the flesh rob, sounds like its coming on now
  19. The Evo intercooler looks ace! Lol. Can just make It out through the grill and bumper, such a good fit too. Drives a lot different yeah haha. More boost needed for a bit of excitement I think though
  20. Cheers for the comments. The na rocker cover has the same breathers/pcv valve they're just in different places. I have a spare fte one I'll have to get it sprayed up and swap back over. And yeah, I'm sick to death of dicussing afr with people tbh. Bore wash doesn't exist in the eyes of most people on here who seem to think its an amazing idea to run their standard turbo at standard boost with an afr of 10. I understand the whole concept of it quite well, I've modelled it at uni a few times. But hopefully getting management in September most pr
  21. Not updated this in forever. Fallen out of love with the car a little bit to be honest. Bought some hel braided lines all round off the good man pick 1 (recommend buying off this guy, lovely chap ) they made a huge difference to the feel of the brake pedal, a lot more solid and better response. Arranged a deal to swap my arc top mount for a hdi front mount with andy kelly who lives not far from me. went to take my top mount off and boom, massive crack in the wepr manifold so out of desperation i borrowed sam's td04 kit while mine is off being welded. (i start working very intense shifts next week so needed it doing asap). so fitted the td04 kit last night, and ended up fitting an evo 8 intercooler instead of the hdi one as i didnt want to take the lip off and hack away at my bumper. the evo 8 intercooler fitted like a glove without having to grind or cut anything at all the bumper lives on! also, i recently scrapped a project car (1.6 auto clio rxe) but kept the 14" alloys because the tyres on my inovites are shocking and i can't afford 4 proxes right now. the clio wheels fit perfect, handle amazing and the tyres are all brand new (i know they're ugly but at least theyre legal and handle better than the inovites) so it's currently running 0.5 bar on a td04, with evo 8 front mount. here's a few pics; (bit wonky but this was when we just offered it up, fixed it in straight) as for the td04, might up the boost a bit while it's on to see what i think, but i can definitely say my old set up would have wiped the floor with it and that was only 0.8 bar. i'll see what happens when i up the boost slightly, might be a bit more exciting. don't get me wrong, she does pull very string though
  22. Turns out my manifold was cracked, badly, so I'm literally in the process of fitting a front mount, sard rrfpr, and a td04 kite ought now as we speak because that's the only spare set up available while it get the wepr welded. I'll be running this at 10-11 probably. Just to be safe
  23. It's cheaper to go td04 than it is to maintain a ct9 setup in my opinion. Probably talking £60-£100 for a td04, and the manifolds and downpipes range in price depending on quality etc. sams toyosports kit cost him about £120 i believe. I'm only doing it because my bloody manifold is in need of a bit of tlc. And once that's welded I'll be giving Sam his td04 kit back (maybe )
