We've compared a few images of a toyo with my own, but theres a few noticeable differences - so who knows - and as tris missed it - I'll point out that the brake lines were also discovered to be braided

Just discovered my rear engine/gearbox mount is sheared, gonna need a new one, anyone got one going for spares?

Not gone that far under, got bored and fitted the td04 instead ;) but will have a look tomorrow when we're finishing up

Hey all, popped a driveshaft - knuckle came clean out of the green housing and split the boot, though the housing stayed in the box. Took the shaft out and the green housing and popped in the new driveshaft (cheers iddy!) all was well and good - the spring washer clicked into the box and everything went back as planned. Rolled the car back and locked over both ways all was well, so took it for a little drive, got down my mates lane and onto the main road, I accelerated in a straight line gently, made about 15mph and pop. Driveshaft was hanging again. Needle rollers everywhere, lost a bearing casing and it's done the same thing. Left the housing in the gearbox (a bitch to get out twice within a couple of hours lol) and split the cv boot. The housing seems fine internally bar a lack of grease (as its now all down the road) but now I'm to the point of having to get a second shaft :/ My real question is- WHY is it doing this? Alignment is fine, albeit ever so slightly out, and there's no visible damage to the wishbone or anything else for that matter.

A mate of mine wants a set of coils for his 96spec V for cheap, he's after looks rather than an actual handling upgrade, so has asked me to put up a wanted thread to see what's about second hand. Why he couldn't do it himself I have no idea :/ lol - so whatcha got?

Haha, well, I've gotta try get my hands on one of them ;) Aye harnesses are a bit of a bitch but the stress and effort will be so worth it when they're done

To be fair - she surprised me, she made 155horse at the fly running 0.6bar when i took her to get dynoed last month O.o and i cant actually figure out how in my mind, theres no boost leaks so the ct9 must be ruined, rather large cracks in the wastegate perhaps? perfect excuse to td04 it though ;)

Hey people, ive had my 96 V since november 2011 and after 7 months of TrisK pestering me, finally I've decided to come join ;) He also (as far as I'm aware) put a few photos of my car up and dubbed the topic 'the grandza' which explains my car perfectly! Got it for a bargain price and now slowly over time i plan to build her up and get better, eventually resulting in (i hope) in a perfect concoction of a car ;) as for now, ive managed to get the running gear for a td04 conversion as cheap as possible, however the future dictates i will probably go over that limit of a grand for bodywork and resprays, and also some proper management rather than RRFPR'ing the poor thing for too long > Hi by the way.
