  1. Haha cheers man, you should defo do it like, theres a few different ways to do the conversion, using the equivalent FTE parts (looms and sensors etc.) and strapping a turbo to a FE is the easiest id say.
  2. Was doing a bit to the car earlier, had to tidy my injector harness so its wrapped up properly with that fabric loom tape, also rotated my injectors 180° and tucked the wiring out of the way. Heres a pic of the bay as it is now, still lots of work to be done but my aim was to get it running first then i can mess about and tidy up later on. And a pic of the turbo, i have a 90° metal bit that bolts on to it so i can get a filter in behind the grill area. And i have MK3 seats attached to 85 bases and it all bolts down with no cutting or welding and rails up Need to retrim my door cards aswell. And clean the whole interior.
  3. Thanks man, its not that minty body wise but that will be fixed at some point lol. The turbo is a IHI VF12 which came on old JDM single turbo Subaru Legacys, its ment to be similar to a TD04 sorta thing. It should be alright
  4. Car looks cracking, nice to see one in good nick, the majority i see up here are stripped out drift sluts. Good one ripping out that TC haha, should give ya a few 5pence - 50pence moments in this weather lol.
  5. Did you get this sorted ? Checked mime and its a Type 54, the terminals can be bought on ebay for them.
  6. Haha cheers man, am sure Shorty will be back with a vengeance one day And thats good going man 1 week. I've only put about 18 hours into this total, which might seem like no time at all but it was a very easy conversion. Only thing which held me back was waiting on parts really. If i hadn't scrapped my GT with a lot of kit on it then i'd have had everything i needed lol, but i scrapped it about a week before this popped up haha.

  8. Right so the last few parts to get this up and running arrived today, they were ignition leads and turbo oil lines & banjo bolts. Got them fitted earlier today, primed the turbo, attached jump leads and fired it up for the first time since the turbo conversion. Everything went as planned with no issues or leaks etc happy days. Just need to buy a half size radiator and intercooler pipes then i can go boosting.   21. No to the above, there was a MK1 specific Livesports lip which is different to the MK2 and MK3 type A & B lips.
  22. Thats good to know that you can got so close to FC in this freezing cold weather, TD04 EWG kit you have isnt it ? Dont see a lot of positive feedback for Jizzmos om here lol.
  23. On a 4paw youre gonna need one which can handle sidesteps at 7K lol, i've only a Exedy 3 Puk in mine but i doubt it could comfortably hold up 350 bhp drag runs. I know ECC do a mega clutch kit, Race-Tech also do proper high power capable kits. Other places like TD aswell etc.

  25. They all vary really. Most common is 13x7, well thats what the Jap size is.
