  1. Good example starlets should be going up in price !! Price them high if youre not looking to sell rapid. If folk want them then they'll need to pay GLWS guys.
  2. Can anyone link up the said info/pics/vids please ? Very best of luck with the sale man Its actually a bargain imo.
  3. Youre a rocket haha, kidding on man How you enjoying it ?
  4. Unplugged connector (light grey) looks like the cat temp sensor plug, i take it you have a decat ? This removes the temp probe and youre left with a spare plug.
  5. I hate that ^^^^^ too, fair enough if youre breaking, but its gay in a for sale ad.
  6. I can confirm that ^^^^^ When replacing the crank seal on the timing side you'd be silly to use all the old shit so replacing the lot will be expensive. Toyota labour is about 80 odd quid an hour at my local branch so you can see how it all mounts up. Do it yourself
  7. With you on that one Liam, i dont understand all this stage 2b etc. pish that folk go on about. A lad round here with a corsa VXR was telling me how his car is stage 3 because its got injectors and a hybrid blah, blah, my old GT still destroyed it. My auto carat would prob destroy it mind you haha.
  8. I drove a Citroen C4 picasso 1.6 HDI auto today, was a motability one aswell.
  9. Would be achieved by piston head surface design & headgasket thickness. Limits the boost you can run though, but then again it would be 'less lazy' off boost with a higher comp design.
  10. New profile pic, my 85 & 91 Carat :)

  11. Is this one of the TGTT lads ?? Insperation for mine
  12. Welcome in I have a Legacy too, its nothing exciting, just a comfy daily
  13. Yeah my GT did. Had a bed sheet as a parachute because it was too extreme.
  14. It gives the whole scene a bad name.
  15. I'm with Adam on this, it could be done at a decent price if you do all the work yourself and find bargain used parts. Although, i priced up everything needed to build a forged engine myself, and with the lot + machine work it came to more than what TD & Race-Tech charge.
  16. Ive met him and he seemed really sound, he cruised down to Japfest with a couple of us a few months ago. Properly wide what he has done :/
  17. Was it owned by the boy Davey who had the rattle can red starlet ??? Lol. As per the halfords thread tehe. Sorry, had to Shite talk over.
  18. I had a similar issue a few months back in work, turned out the timing belt had skipped a few teeth and obviously preventing it from starting. Worth a check atleast.
  19. Am in it for the build, 100%, ofcourse the actual driving experience is awesome aswell, but its a bit more special when you can say, 'i built this'. The feeling that gives you knowing that youve made this car what it is...well its fantastic !! Really enjoying my current build atm And have my next build sitting right beside it haha.
  20. Yous are bullies hahahaha. That last one linked is atrocious.
  21. I use this, oil filter claw. http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/attachments/f88/12904d1215990850-filter-wrench-oem-oil-filter-oil-filter-claw-wrench.jpg Must have used it literally hundreds of times without fail
  22. Cheers for the info Shorty, i'll have a snoop round TGTT for their threads I still need to take the springs off the GT shocks and fire them on the 85 shocks, will see how much it drops the rear. My panhard rod has a very slight upwards bend in it, banana'd, i know they flex somewhat but surely it cant be right ? Also im quite happy with how stiff the back end is constructed with those torsion bars and the RARB.
  23. People are free to do whatever they want The money quickly mounts up with tuning cars, especially if you just pay someone else to do it.
  24. Welcome to UKSO Do you have any pics of the previous Glanzas ?
  25. Yeah ^^ the 14b differs from the rest. GLWS Russell , work has started on the 85 by the way.
