You said you've checked ignition timing, what about the cambelt?? It may have slipped after you put it back on, if it was running before you done the waterpump i would say that could be the issue, if the timing was wrong when you first fired it up you could have had the valves hit the pistons, best bet would to check if you can turn it over by hand

True you could find the nearest antenna to them as you can trace the signal to it, maybe we should set up our own investigation we seem to be better experts than there ones

I completely understand, i keep thinking that ive spent £2.5k on my glanza so far and its not even 10% done yet and ive added up its going to cost at least another £2k-£3k maybe more to get it too the spec that i want,i keep thinking is it worth it but i cant give up on it now, but obviously everyones different and you could get something seriously cool with the money you have plowed into it
