  1. When you picking the car up? Getting close to Japfest now!
  2. £20? Every place I've phoned up want £45+ just to set their machine up for the car!
  3. As already said, give it 500 miles and you should notice the blowby symptoms disappear. Great news having it going again though dude, hats off to you!
  4. Got cracking on my new D1 spec gauges at the weekend, removed my exisitng 2 gauge pillar pod to be replaced by my new 3 gauge pillar pod. Got the new Oil temp and Oil pressure wired in successfully and finished them off Monday night, haven't got any pictures fitted yet but will do shortly:) Up on stands in preparation for Japfest. Got my N/S front caliper off at the moment as the piston is sticking. Took it all apart today to find that its a bit inconclusive as to what is causing it. I cleaned everything up and am going to order new seals in the morning as they seem a bit
  5. Lol morgey if you mounted that it would rip your bumper off and you'd run over it all after about 50mph lols
  6. Yeah, should definately be able to hold stock boost all the way to the limiter. It really sucks when you have to feather the throttle all the time and keep and eye on the boost gauge, I had to do that to avoid fuel cutting all the time before I had mine mapped. Now its perfect:) Creeps slightly when its cold but will hold 1bar real steady
  7. Yeah should definately be enough. To do a whole brake fluid change I would usually use just under 1 litre.
  8. You won't need any fluid if your only changing discs and pads mate
  9. Well after you've been driving if you get out straight away and put your hands near your brake discs and see how hot they are. Can easily tell straight away if one is rubbing/binding
  10. Yeah I've heard they are good, I gave them a call and they said it would be £70-£100. Is that not a bit Steep? It's a hunter system.
  11. Why do you want to port it dude? You getting bad boost creep? On a CT9 turbo, if the wastegate has been ported; yes you won't experience anymore boost creep anymore, BUT you wont be able to hold your boost hard and stable all the way to the red line. I was thinking of having my CT9 wastegate ported before it was mapped at Tuning Developments but i spoke to Mike and he said that is really a last resort. On a CT9 you use the creep to your advantage to hold 1bar hard all the way to the limiter.
  12. What toe are you running? If your car is setup with any toe-out the car will tramline and follow the camber of the road a lot. Another thought.. Check your brakes, is one rubbing or sticking slightly causing the car to pull to a side?
  13. Update> Have got a few bits done, all in preparation for Japfest! Adjustable Panhard Rod Car is booked in for a proper alignment setup ready for track. Fitted a new brake line yesterday, as my left front brake was stuck on. I diagnosed the problem to be a crushed brake line as when i cracked the nipple off, the wheel was much easier to turn. I think i put a brake pipe clamp on too tight for this to happen, ooopps. Hopefully this will solve it once i've bled the brakes Got round to fitting the Oil Sandwich Plate ready to install my oil temp and oil
  14. Yeah i know dude. Just want my geometry checked/set up and suited to what i'm going to be using it for. Was just wondering what settings them have the starlets set to?
  15. What wheel alignment/geometry settings do you guys run for fast road and track use? Want to get mine set up properly now I've fitted my adjustable panhard rod before I go on track at japfest
  16. Hope this all goes perfectly 2nd time round buddy, cracking work!
  17. Poly windows are always expensive in my experience working in motorsport.
  18. Thanks for the reply dude. Yeah I've got it the right way round, just wasn't sure whether to knock the passenger side on with a hammer or not. Will sort it tomorrow then, thanks again!
  19. At the risk of sounding stupid..... I've just been out in the garage swapping my old stock panhard rod, for my new Adjustable Whiteline Panhard Rod. The drivers side fits perfectly, but the passengers side, doesn't fit over the black bush on the bolt. It doesn't seem like the black bush is removable. Did anyone enlarge the hole in the polybush of the panhard rod or what? And also, can someone please clarify what the little spacer supplied with the rod is for? Probably very simple, but i'm confused! Help Appreciated!
  20. Aha it does actually, as if its going to take off Cheers man. Cheers fella, yeah good bit of kit, really pleased with it! Cheers dude, who needs TD04 when they only make like 20bhp more at 1bar but take longer to spool? Update Changed the cambelt on Saturday, was pretty easy with only the one top pulley:) Everything looked in good nick, but definately worth doing for peace of mind at least! Also had the driveshaft out and changed my inner CV boot which was chucking grease everywhere ...... All ready for MOT today.... Excuse you blurry picture!
  21. Thats cheap man, should sell quick!
