block off the bov flange then, i would say ssq DV's are a safe bet for reliability as ive never had any experience with any others, bailey have a tendency to leek ive heard so i would stay clear of them
mines has never needed any work in nearly 3 years, however i do beleive its restricting power when chasing 300hp + so mines will be coming off soon enough shame aswell i love it
Screamer basically allows the turbo gases to be separated and allow a slightly quicker spool time, does sound good on a well set up car running a decent turbo, its 6 and half a dozen really if you want to run one.
some people can get away with it with things like being able to build/fix cars and having a decent place to do it, im lucky enough to have a garage but im not the bravest at stripping down something ive put so much money into should anything go wrong, saying that i dont mind too much now as me and a mate are moving into a unit
what would you want for the turbo, mani and screamer shaun ? been looking at this for a while now and just curious, already got a wastegate and ill have a custom decat made up as i dont want a side exit, pm me bud
mines owes me around 16 including buying it also, weird how its miles of sock's spec although i do have one reciept for just under 9k not to mention everything else turbo kits exhausts all my wheels brand new etc its scary but alot of people do far worse with their money !
My forged lump has a high idle aswell mate even when warm its around 1200 dont worry to much rob just check for basic vac leaks, wont do it any harm though bud !
if the actuator is adjustable then turn it down bit by bit untill you are not hitting fuel cut, failing that get it up to a tuner and have them sort it for you...a reputable tuner i might add
