  1. That would have been the plan but the wheel well is there and theres no gap at all unfortunately.
  2. Yeah it is very different and thats what I always go for.i dont like "conforming" lol. I might take it back a little so it sits flush with the bumper, not sure yet.
  3. UPDATE. as I wouldnt mind doin brands hatch at end of year I had to get the screamer pipe re-routed into the main system as it was way to loud, I did however have a lambda bung welded in the screamer re-router so it can be removed or screwed in for a tiny bit of extra noise when not on track. Also I had the exhaust tail pipe re-done as I was bored of it sitting downwards to the floor. Lastly I had a flexi-pipe welded In as I never had one fitted and whole system was rigid.its been fine as the engine doesnt move because its polybushed but still I finally got it sorted. Heres the piccys
  4. That is nice that car. by the way the thing with ct9s is that they are ALL old and knackered now...but theres always liam d at midlands turbos to rebuild the little ct9s and then your sorted for at least two years as thats the warranty they give. I tryed/sourced quite a few from ebay/ forum and they have all been knackered bar 1 of them. I would never take the gamble again wasting money on buying them because for 188 quid rebuilds the best route
  5. Yes the td04L is the most widely used and known subaru turbo used on a starlet. source one of those is best bet.
  6. Dude did you sort that seat belt plug out for me at all ? Pics etc ?
  7. A stock ct9 will give you circa 190 bhp which is more than enough in a starlet. as above, handling and braking is much more important.put your cash to that. makes for a great all round car.
  8. Just makesure you run them with an external wastegate and your golden. the only problem is their internal wastegate wont regulate boost well and any time
  9. I have gone from a ct9 to a td04 and back to a ct9. I have to say I prefer a ct9 anyday.as russ78 said they are a good turbo and very usable. I think there great and they are made to go with our little 1.3s. Toyota know there stuff.
