  1. Shaun u nailed that in one mate.
  2. Bigger injectors im sure are a must, however you will need management to run those puppys
  3. Hey guys. got a freshly rebuilt ct9 speedvision hybrid. I have seen and taken in the starlet leaderboard of top bhp of said turbos etc etc. I did notice that when it comes to the hybrid ct9s that nobody on the board really ran more than 15 psi is this because there is nothing else to be had after a bar/14psi despite hybrid ct9s being rated anything up to 1.3bar anybody got some dyno graphs or threads relating to this and/or have any knowledge of hybrid varients over a bar please??
  4. A td04L will make circa 220-230 on a good health engine dude. so ure magic 250 aint much more boost . 1.1 and I think that wud give you 240. Do that and be done with it.afaik the stock injectors arent to happy past 220 bhp.got told that a few times.
  5. The was a variant between ep91 and 82 mate im sure.
  6. They wont sort that I dont believe. as its alooy get it welded.job done
  7. Yeap.hugely doubt u have a genuine sard one here matey.dont skimp on something as important az a fpr. at best it will destroy ure engine, and at worst set ure pride and joy on fire. steer well clear
  8. Haha.deal matey. :-D Picking up the afr guage hopefully tomorrow eve amd may even get to tune in evening also. cheers maddox
  9. Also the argument is "at the moe" your running x amount of power, always over upgrade things, that way you dont buy twice sid. been there done that and trust me being tight gets you money down the drain in long run
  10. Would noramlly recommend a exedy stocker.but I would go with the above for the right price.phils a top man.
  11. What a big hoo-haa. one thing I will say is learn from this, dont bother sending stuff anywere other than the uk dude.
  12. If your running more than stock boost (0. then get one. if not then as above what he said
  13. The linking back up of the map wire is all that matters. cutting red and black wire on the fcd aswell as the above makes the job complete. you then afterwards as a consequence will need ure afrs setup again. your bad luck and problems could have been avoided if you had had the "insurance" that an afr guage can give. do ureslef a favour and get one.they are only 150 quid. You need to be aiming for 10.7 afr as a super safe afr dude. Have run this for two years now and perfectly fine.others will say its to rich which it is but its safe as it adds extra cooling to the charge no matter how nomi
  14. So the turbos all fitted up.primed the bugga for 3x10secs bursts with kinglead off. Fired up straight away and took her round the block.all is ok and best of all when at idle theres..... ★★ NO MORE SMOKE !!! ★★★★★★★★ which is bloody awesome.so happy with the turbo, only thing is gotta wait a few days to be able to get the fueling setup with me mate afr guage as the change to the hybrid with bring extra air.
  15. I am gonna download it in a bit.dont hold to much hope then.no jap cars :-(
  16. This is not for sale anymore, used by myself on a brand new rebuilt ct9 !!!!!!!!!!! Cheers mods
  17. Yeah if everybody was it would be a lovely place to trade.
  18. The service that liam and his crew at midlands turbo is second to none. My turbo was sent on the monday, recieved on the tuesday and back with me by thursday morning looking like a brand new turbo.the work gone into it is superb and at all times I had updates etc etc. Had my stock ct9 hybrided, rebuilt with all new parts and wastegate welded shut, all for £189. Payment was made very nice by a lovely polite lady that was more than happy to help . Would highly recommend these guys to do your turbo and the way liam conducts himself is so very professional and proper. A1 STUFF PEO
