  1. opened the box and theres a nice shiny new ct9 hybrid in there with a welded up wastegate and barely any play in the shaft
  2. heres what my turbo was looking like before being refurbished and internals renewed
  3. If it were me I wud go out the bottom also with gearbox attached.

I dont think a spring up a certain way will make any difference. check if the damping action is there still mate.rock the corner of the car on the corner u suspect a dud damper,if it stops rocking immediately then its fine,if it keeps going its buggered. I have silly hard springs on my car and mines not bouncy at all.
  5. Kate if its a genuine one -------carefully peel the sard sticker of slightly,if it leaves void behind on the sard unit its a gooden.

  8. Stripping rear of car doesn't do that much and wouldnt do it again ever. noisey and makes back end a little lighter which affects how car handles a little
  9. UPDATE........liam messaged me this morning and said my turbo is complete already which is great.will hopefully be with me tommorow. This part turned up finally so its all ready to go onto the turbo.

Yeah I did think of that maddox.I use a really thick walled 7mm fuel/oil line. used it for years with no issues and the peace of mind that the walls are around 2mm thicker than normal fuel/oil line. just measured Internal diameter of what will be the drain to the ct9 and its 13mm so Its plenty big enough im sure thanks for your input though maddox,much appreciated :-D

  12. Most modern cars a fecking horrible, fact. 90s car's are by far the best looking and in alot of cases perform better. that pulsars wack.
  13. The bigger fitment is a 8an with a 10an adaptor so its correct size for the oil return
  14. UPDATE. have sent my turbo away to Liam_d at midland turbos.Sent it MONDAY first thing and TUESDAY (today) morning I get a message from liam saying its there. Its there for a rebuild and hybrid conversion. have also ordered up some AN fitments for the turbo oil feed and return.this is so I can run the inline temp sensor I was running with my last td04L setup.
  15. What power did u make with the blitz turbo dude ? Did the turbo start to fail already as u said you had smokey turbo ??
  16. U will need a turbo engine,ideally gearbox,full loom headlight to taillight. and a workshop and alot of knowledge,time ,and patience.
  17. Tbh mate there isnt lots. much better and cost effective to turbo like I have done. go from 70 to 170 bhp on a ct9 at a bar.
