  3. Very true, colin and adam have some good points
  4. For now i wanted a nice run around car that was tidy and reliable. This time round with this starlet i wanted to go all out on handling instead of engine tuning,so i did just that.pretty much all conceivable handling mods you can do to a starlet i have done and more !!! Ihave even fabricated up adjustable rear camber on my sportif. mods were/are : # polybushings throughout the car # gt rear beam with discs # tein master mono flex coilovers (400lbs front,250lbs rear spring rate # battery relocated to boot # corner weighted car myself with 8 sets of bathroom scales #
  5. Get alignment done,15 wheels with rainsports 3s, uprated front arb ,polybush everybush on the front. tbh the whole car needs seeing to .its all relative ,not just front end
  6. Yeah should defo not be exposed as it will let water, road dust and shit etc in there. as above the sandwich plate is missing I guess, thats just somebody been to lazy to refit when reoving gearbox. Unfortuantley you can only fit it up when gearbox is off :-(

  12. Hmm I dont know if I like the seras.to me a bit odd looking but each to there own.imput the starlet and keep it !!
  13. I run 400lbs front and 250lbs rear and its not harsh at all. its the damping and quality of the suspension that makes it a shote ride or not.
  14. I have heard the majority of "low compression" forged engines run circa 145-150 psi.read a thread on that ages ago and alot of people inputted to that thread. mines a stock 17 year old engine with well over 165psi over all four cylinders. I do see whats meant about a thicker gasket as well as low comp pistons and thats when you see the 145-150 psi im sure
  15. Lol shaun. Dude I just noticed in ure engine bay u have still a pcv connected up. do youself a favour and remove the WHOLE pcv unit and replace with an elbow to allow for better breathing. also as I just said about checking breather setup which in your case is a lil mini air filter in red.check the inside of that for being drenched with oil.
  16. Man being surrounded by ep82s is such a cool thing.love the build.so I take it u scrapped the throttle bodies idea ?
