  1. i used 2 beads, one on the outside and one on the inside of the bolt holes if that makes sense. Get it fitted and bolted in place as quick as you can after using the sealent. You want it to set on the engine. It might also be an idea to use a torque wrench to tighten up all the bolts to the correct torque, overtightening can bend the sump which would result in a crap seal. And obviously dont put any oil in the engine for a good 24 hours.
  2. i used the loctite copper sealant, worked a treat. Like the boys said, make sure its super clean and dry. I would personally leave it for 24 hours before putting oil in the engine just to save having to redo the process again if it wasnt left long enough.
  3. Nah theres a different pattern on the material. 96-97 diff from 98-99

  10. Is there any alternatives to the glanza electric folding mirrors? Like folding ones with the electric mirror adjust? Both mine have packed in within a week of each other. (constant clicking sound but not able to fold in/out) Managed to fix one and replaced the other with a spare one i had but they are different specs so are slightly different shapes haha
  11. I've just reshelled my glanza and it took me a good 3 weeks to get it done. I had no mechanical experience really except changing radiator and servicing. I wasnt out every day all day to be fair so I'd say its a solid weeks work to do it right. Its a tough job man, sadly my cars no where near done and it still needs a good few grand pumped into it to get it where i want it. (respray, remap, new coilovers etc...) Once its complete it will be totally worth it but its a lot of hard work man. Dont rush anything if you do go to do it as you will have to redo it later if its not right. oh and th
  12. A front mounted air filter, decat and exhaust all improve the air flow meaning the standard actuator cant hold standard pressure well. Cold weather will encourage boost creep as well. Im not 100% but i think the hks actuator might not actually solve your issue. You may need to port your ct9's wastegate to keep the boost levels where they should be, either that or fit the standard air box back on and see if that restricts the flow to keep the boost controlled. Last thing u want is to be hitting fuel cut. Looks really nice tho man absolute bargin
  13. yeah videos dont seem to do a screamer justice. 1st gear the whole street shit themselfs
  14. Theres yet another oil leak from my engine and its coming from the side of the head and created a puddle on the gear box. How urgent is this to fix? At the moment its not losing too much oil and im driving very sensibly until i've got it sorted

  17. i've been quoted £1500 from 3 different people, kenny laird, ia bodyshop and pro bodyshop. All of their work is spot on, its pretty important to take it to the right place. I'd be gutted paying less and a half arsed job. Just my 2 cents
