  1. I'm picking up a new shell from leeg in the next few days, just wondering if anyone has any advice for doing this? If anyone found it easy or really hard? The shell has a wiring loom but i will be swapping basically everything, engine, exhaust, doors, full suspension, back quarter windows etc. I have access to a engine crane, jacks, axle stands and a few friends who are willing to help out I am almost considering getting a garage to do the work for me but i cant really afford the £750 i've been quoted. Any advice would be appreciated
  2. Im considering getting a new set of alloys, im running 15's at the moment. I was thinking about going 16" to handle the td04 power better. Just wondering peoples thoughts? anyone went 16's and regretted it?
  3. It was pro grip in bonnybridge i went to
  4. I'd say expect some kinda work with any car you get, these cars are getting old now and things will go from time to time. I thought mine was mint but lots of little things needed sorting like the windscreen washers we're working so had to get a new pump, electric windows were sticking so needed the runners a good clean, new front brakes, new tyres as it came with gash ones, boot lifters dont hold the boot up, alignment needed done etc... Like the boys said. Make sure its mechanically sound and the shell is in good condition (no rust/major dents etc) I was going to keep mine standard b
  5. Its a safety feature to stop you blowing up you engine. Personally i'd avoid the fuel cut defender and opt for getting a emanage blue fitted. People will disagree but its a safer route and will no doubt get more power out your car
  6. Fuel cut comes on when you go over 0.8bar of boost. If you keep your eye on the gauge and if the power drops when your over 0.8bar and the engine management light comes on then its more than likely fuel cut. A quick search on the forum will go into it in more detail. As for what management your running... the ecu is behind the glove box. It should be a square metal box, upload pics and someone should be able to tell if its standard
  7. i was considering replacing the lens but its kinda cracked the full unit and they cost a bomb from toyota
  8. Looking for a single light but will consider any ep91 pairs!

  11. Haha i've never had one to say if they were any good so i apologise
  12. I've got a bosch battery, never had any issues and i only use the car every 2-3 days. Eurocarparts are pretty good for prices, you would get a decent one for £50. Avoid places like halfords as they want silly money for their crap ones. How long does the car get left when u realise the battery has died? Do you have any amps/subs in your car? sometimes they can be draining your battery if the remote cables are not fitted correctly
  13. Welcome to the site! This should help http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showwiki.php?title=EP91+Fuse+to+component+index
  14. Put up a pic of your engine bay. Make sure we can see your intercooler pipes clearly. There should be a small tube/or space for one running off the intercooler piping, if u dont have a dump valve chances are its just blocked off at the end. This is where u want to fit yours
  15. lots of camber on your wheels will make your car sensitive to the camber of the road, might be to do with that
  16. The price of a good branded wheel is more than i'd like to pay as well so im also interested to hear about anyone who's got one. I cant imagine much could go wrong... there's got to be at least one out there thats really good quality
