  1. i just cut the bumpstops of the fronts will upload in a while brackets are simple mate just bolt on kind of just extending the eye already on the coil

  3. depends how you fit the tops theres 2 ways of doing it on the polo 1s now everythin just bilted right on no cutting on the topmount of the rear then fit the large washer as you do on a starlet shock then 3 small washers ontop of that for the thread
  4. i pasted the cheap link in post 102 mathew you cut 9mm of each side strait of then you cut 4mm extra of the outer shell and do not cut the steel bush in the center so the outer of the bush wont rub of the axel
  5. how many gt rods do you have pm me a price for some amount of them i can press the rods of my selves now just got a press few weeks back
  6. think a comp tester is 30 euros daragh or local moterfacters will have it to if they sell tools ant your labour is free :)
  7. thats basicly it mathew and yes polos are solids with no screw of bits thats only ta tecnix golf2 front and mk1 golf rears that they screw off i think aaaal pol are solid units thats why im updating this thread
  8. i think its 8or9v wen it wont start anymore with a bump/push then leads are needed

  10. the pic above is the front coils mathew al you do to them is do the holes on the bottom thats it !!! stock topmounts just bolt right on with no messing or modding tomorow i am making brackets ( bolt on ) for the brake lines ( no welding this time ) bumpstops just cut in half thats al will take pic of that to there like 3 inches big i think my rears are bottoming out on them

  13. can check that with a ordinary compression tester if compression is down between 2 cylinders then you know

  15. mattias i have the fronts out still so i will take a pic of them there the rears are in the car so when i take them off in a few days to cut the bump stops in half i will take a pick then
  16. did you blow gasket between 2 cylinders ???? i did that before sounded like subaru and same symptons
  17. measured the front coils for stock camber did a bit of a miss calculation on the previous 1s i then made a metal template for the holes now using my template i dont need to dos around trying to align the holes and makes the job so much faster + i will have the template for future coils to :)
  18. you can relocate the coil to if you want :)

  20. your question to fat pipe on canister / fit longer fat pipe and go back under car a tat and vent to air doent want it venting in engine bay or feul smell will be pressent on many ocasions
  21. you removed aircon so you can remove al those vsv valves above the coil/igniter you can remove almost everything there depends how empty you want to go
  22. that loose pipe is feul return to tank by the looks of it !! the outlet from your rrfpr has to go there or standard fpr ( metal pipe not there )

  24. can be done in situ but be very carefull with the metal splinters when drilling as u know urselve they will destroy your engine is the fal in
