i take it the n\a ep82 manifold bolted up differently than the old ep91 one i had?

Vboi its a devider to send the exhaust gases from two cylinders down one side and the other two down the other side. better flow. if it was possible to measure that up you could get a better flowing manifold made up

That looks, and I'm pretty sure that its a downpipe for a turbo. That would bolt to the CT9 cat a real treat. Dont think thats a butterfly, there no mechanism at all, how would you control it.

I think its just a divider to let the gases away from the turbo abit quicker. It definateley a N/A starlet.

it's an N1 Exhaust Center Section, as Rick says...I think the Starlet's as standard have a 4-1 system, this would convert it to a 4-2-1 which has the effect of increasing low-mid range torque levels, and I presume get rid of the Catalytic convertor too

well if what ricko is saying is correct then this would be incredible to get hold of and replicate in a group buy

also would this bolt onto the oem exhaust mani?? and just require work on the centre section?

i would definitely go for a manifold like this with low to mid torque gains instead of using a 5efe pacesetter manifold and and loose low end torque.

ho0w bout it rick????

im no NA expert as ive only worked on the turbo variety of starlets.

but from what ive seen it looks as if it would bolt to the stock manifold and do away with the cat.

it looks like it'd fit nicely. but i wouldnt know for sure.

i could probably get it here for less than 160 quid.

Sounds like the sort of thing I need to improve my torque problem, but I just don't have 160odd quid to spend at the moment :)

join the fcuking club im skint also and would love to get hold of this for a bit of extra pull down low.....
