Error Code 41 after swapping over 4 wire auto TPS

Hi guys,

Recently converted to a 4 wire auto TPS on my Glanza which is running an eManage Ultimate. 
Car puts out error code 41 when in diagnostic mode. 

Have any of you experienced this before?

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
No signal for 0.5 seconds or more at ignition ON. (VTA)
ECU

check you have wired it in correctly also might need to have a map update to tell ecu it has auto TPS as your current map is to the ol throttle body

How have you wired it in?

Stock TPS doesnt use a 5v Ref, where as the Auto one does, so if youve not added that it it wont work.

Auto TPS wiring diagram is easily available online. Like said above stock one doesn’t use a 5v Ref so you need to splice into the ‘VCC’ pin. Easiest to do it near the map sensor

Just remeber, you do also need a ECU that can support a true variable TPS
